S8 Oreo is scheduled to be released at the end of Feb. It's confirmed now. Can read the related news via google.

Note 8 Oreo most likely will come along, if not, right after S8 Oreo. So. Ya. Our note 8 Oreo will be released on March, if we are lucky. The worst, I won't be surprised at all if we get it in April. Given the fact that sme is always one of the slowest when it comes to update.

Haha. My take on this is Samsung is acting too late on this. They supposed to do this promotion during the launching month of Note 8. Now already almost 5 months. The old users sure won't bother with it. Only the new buyers will consider this. Typical Samsung tactic. Always comes out with those late promotions to attract potential buyers. For example, wait for few months later, the blue color sure will be released before Note 9 comes out.

What's the SOT? If you on the screen for 53 mins, then yes, it's normal.

Do you see the screen column in the screenshot you posted above? Press that and it will tell you the SOT (screen on time).

1 hour ++ only and battery juice already 40++ %? That's very bad.

What's your brightness percentage? Did you use 4g data all the time? How is the signal strength in your place? Did you play a lot of games or YouTube videos? Those are the common factors that would affect your battery life.

Just want to tell you guys that S8 already received their Oreo last night, in Malaysia. Envy right? But no need to be jealous. Apparently this Oreo update got bugs, causing some users facing bootloop problem after update. And today Samsung already pulled off the OTA update. I guess they were too rush on this. Thinking from a brighter side, it's good to let them iron it out by testing it on S8 first. We certainly don't want the same thing happen to our Note 8.

Ya it was. But somehow they screwed it up. So far SME set only 1 case based on the feedbacks in S8 thread. Meanwhile in Taiwan, there's more than 10 cases where the phone itself keeps bootlooping after the update. Some of them have to send their phones to SC, which causing them probably won't be able to get it back before CNY.
