No they still credited 2.85% interest only.
Use the interest they credited on 31/1 (0.05%) times 10. If it is same as one of the bonus interest (0.50%) they credited on 15/2, then you only getting 2.85% not 3.35%.

I am still using ocbc360 for payment to cc, with balance of 20k to 50k. Monthly cc payments about 50k to 70k. Last month interest of ~rm100.

QUOTE(Hinote @ Feb 22 2024, 01:16 PM)
OCBC 360 is not difficult:

Base rate = 0.1%
Deposit RM500 = 1.05%
Pay 3 bills = 1.05%
Spend RM500 on credit/debit card = 1.05%
Total = 3.25%
Same thoughts, the product page description is so confusing that I had to go to the branch for clarifications...
Wow... Really did not think of this. Sifu!!

Can really consider, even better if could get company to bank in salary there and get that 2% and make a total of 5.35% 😆

------
Since SC PSA now changed the conditions, looking at UOB One seems it's the highest now? (Given RHB Smart is only 3.35% without salary direct bank in.)

What is UOB 1 offering?

Since so many questions on "how to calculate EIR" and so on, I prepare an overview chart of how much your deposit amount can get you monthly  smile.gif

Then for me this is too inflexible cos need to have 70k to 100k to get >3.2%, my ocbc 360 balance can range from 1k to 100k over the month.

Hi fellow sifus. Just new to ocbc360 and been doing some research in the forum. I wanted to confirm with latest info
To maximize interest
One need to
1) Save(1.05%)-Transfer RM500 to the acc from other bank
2) Pay(1.05%)-Pay 3 bill via Jompay  minimum amount of RM10 for 3 different acc eg tnb, indah water etc via internet banking
3) Spend(1.05%)-Reload RM500 to ewallet using debit card/credit card such as tng ewallet .

This will make one entitled for 3.25% per annum right? Do correct me if I am wrong? If there is any easy way for this please kindly enlighten me also.

No 2 should include fund transfer to distinct banks.

Fund transfer to distinct bank means I transfer let say RM1 to my other three bank acc which is both under my name. It will counted as paying three bills or need to be different persons other than myself?

Thanks for the clarification.
Then it is quite easy to achieve for fresh graduate. It could be choice for ppl still uncertain for digital bank such as GX bank since there do not have physical branches if any issue arise and fully relying on app and customer careline.

But if your average monthly balance is not 5 figure then you wont see much diff in interest, probably a few RM a month. May be not worth the effort.

0.05% base rate
1.00% save rate
1.4% pay bonus (>RM50k without RM1k incremental increase)
1.4% spend bonus (>RM50k without RM1k incremental increase)

Total = RM3.85%

0.05% base rate
1.00% save rate
1.6% pay bonus (>RM50k with RM1k incremental increase)

You can get 1.00% extra bonus rate if you use RHB as your salary crediting account via Joy@Work. You can activate it online or at RHB branch. Provided your work allow you to credit salary to RHB.

Need your advice.
I have 100k in OCBC 360 Savings getting 3.15%, end of May going to transfer to EPF. I am using this acc to pay CC bills of 35k for May.
I also have 1000+ in a newly open RHB Smart.
How much n how should I transfer to RHB Smart in order to enjoy 4.25%. What is the rm1k incremental increase?
If I transfer 100k to RHB Smart n use it to pay CC bills would it affect the 4.25% interest?
