time to pack ocbc and head to SC 

a lot don't realize that Priv Savers is 2.5% >100k which is better than a lot of savings accounts in the market.

if you already deposit 3k a month etc for the 4% you can make this account your primary account. MEPS for ATM is free when u hit the 3k deposit monthly anyway

E.g. sept left rm1 as balance in hsbc acc
Oct put 100k into hsbc acc, then can get 1.75% on rm99999 lol

I think there is no way u can eliminate debit card because your online banking requires debit card for activation.

Guys, any idea how much does RHB Smart account's rates change based on OPR Hikes/Cuts? I noticed despite two rate hikes, they didn't adjust rates, unlike say OCBC, which has done so.

long story short, get a basic savings account with no annual fee debit card. then open smart account via online (debit card with fees tagged to the account is optional).

Btw, those who use RHB smart. Did you get the 3.35% interest for jan 2023?

My balance was varying too much throughout the month, so it's abit harder for me to calculate and tally.

SC-PSA is now 4.15%, can move it up.
I am not that lazy to expect other ppl to calculate for me. I just assume someone would have calculated for themselves and they did get the right interest.

Best thing to do is for those getting 2.85% to call RHB customer service and ask why. Then maybe share it back here with others.
