keyword : discipline
for people who hardly make any savings, this cud be gud choice

if discipline = low return, i'll rather be undisciplined.

you know, kind of itching to take it out after 5 years with 100% return rather than 20 years for 100% return.

i tried last year.

it'll divide into both accounts, i.e.

70% Account 1
30% Account 2

Did you try contributing into your own account? Also is your EPF being contributed monthly by your Employer?

Thanks for the info

good question - i did it for my wife, she already stopped working for some time,
and my OCD side wanted to see a round-up number in her EPF.

never did it for myself.

cannnn.. as long as she has EPF account available la.

but as some people in here mentioned - why bother with EPF
if you can invest in something else?

i did it to try and round-up my wife's EPF savings, that's all.. laugh.gif

I think your contribution does not go through, use the Enquiry / Pertanyaan module in the EPF i-akaun website and ask them whether they see any contribution from CIMB / Maybank (?)

They will always reply the next business day.

Reply from EPF:

Your e-mail dated 25 October 2017 is hereby referred.

Kindly be informed, for online payment under Self Contribution Scheme, the transaction will be processed and reflected in your EPF account after three (3) working days from the date the payment was made.

Thus, you are advised to check and confirm the contribution status in your EPF statement online via i-Akaun after the mentioned period.

No wonder.

So far all those who successfully transferred are self-contributor.

Never mind, I will try with RM50 myself just for experimenting purpose.

You must have EPF account to begin with.

I use maybank2u.

Go under Investment ---> look for EPF --> register your EPF number/ name/ IC ---> you will get a TAC from maybank to confirm the registration.

The rest is history smile.gif Will take 2-3 days for this amount to be reflected in your KWSP i-account.

It worked for me.
