Transfer to EPF from CIMBClicks / Maybank2u, will it go through?

Hi guys, Just recently I was browsing around CIMBClicks and Maybank2u I found out there is option to add EPF Account under Investment option in both CIMBClicks and Maybank2u My question is can I simply transfer any amount (minimum RM50) to my EPF account to increase my EPF account balance? Will it go to my EPF Account 1 or Account 2? Anyone ever transferred to EPF account before from CIMBClicks / Maybank2u ? Thanks in advance  |

By the way, I have made an inquiry via EPF i-akaun website regarding this. I got an answer that if you are a salaried employee, you cannot do this. You need to fill in special form to self-contribute. Anyway as got one forumer here tried the feature, let's see whether the self contribution goes thru succesfully or not. Below are the official email from EPF officer: QUOTE E-mel tuan bertarikh 22 Oktober 2017 adalah dirujuk. Tuan boleh memilih untuk membayar caruman sukarela/secara pilihan sendiri melalui perbankan internet CIMB Clicks sekiranya tuan bukan pekerja atau bekerja sendiri. Bagaimanapun, disebabkan tuan merupakan pekerja maka tuan tidak boleh memilih untuk membayar caruman pilihan sendiri. Tuan sebagai pekerja boleh memilih membayar caruman melebihi kadar berkanun bahagian pekerja/syer pekerja sekiranya berhasrat untuk menambah simpanan KWSP. Tuan boleh melengkapkan Borang KWSP 17A (AHL) untuk membayar caruman syer pekerja melebihi 8 peratus. Borang tersebut boleh dimuat turun dari laman web KWSP atau didapati di kaunter KWSP. Permohonan yang telah lengkap boleh dikemukakan di kaunter KWSP berhampiran. Bagi pertanyaan lain, tuan boleh menghubungi Pusat Pengurusan Perhubungan KWSP di talian 03-89226000, melayari laman web rasmi KWSP http://www.kwsp.gov.my, mendapatkan maklumbalas "online" melalui http://enquiry.kwsp.gov.my atau mengunjungi Pejabat KWSP yang berhampiran.
