Does anyone facing Timezone issue? I had select Malaysia Timezone GMT +8 but the time stamp on the screen shown -8.5 hours than current time.

I know there is a trick by enabling the "Distortion Correction", and the time zone will be shown the accurate one. But if you record or take a picture from the apps, the video or picture will show back the inaccurate time zone again.

Is there anyone facong the same issue? Or is there any solution so far? Kindly advise.

Do you tested OK while you are at home? Make sure the camera is within wifi coverage. If you also unable to view it from home, then you have to reset it.

Let me know if anyone can solve this issue. Like what you say your oldder dafang with no timezone issue even with the same firmware version. This is weird.

I always update the latest firmware. No issue so far. Usually it fixed certain bux for firmware update. thumbup.gif

I have 2 units of Dafang, one unit with flip image (screen reversal), and the other one with normal facing. Both have incorrect time. It can be showing you the correct time if you turn on "Distortion Correction" however, if the video you download or you play back, it still come with the wrong time. Until today, i did not find way to solve it. I hope someone have the same issue and got the solution. nod.gif

See below images.

First picture show the correct time with "Distortion Correction" turn ON.

Second picture show the wrong time without turn on "Distortion Correction".

However, I did mention on above post that even the time is correct after you turn on "Distortion Correction" but if you download the video or you view from memory card also still with the wrong time. It only can let you VIEW from phone for the correct time. I beleive most recent user facing the same problem? Feel free to leave your feedback and solution.
