Go to gobind and TM's twitter account, try to tag whatever things we streamyx users not satisfied with. Ask them if they unable to do speed upgrade, give us price reduction. This is what they promised and we want that to be fulfilled. I got a feeling, if we the streamyx users want speed upgrade, the most they can offer now is unifi mobile. Heard that from someone of TM told me.

They are not sleeping as they made billion of profit each year. Thanks to the massive last miles they have. Due to the all the comfort and premium they are enjoying, injecting cash cows for the government as a GLC, but the last GE shattered the sweetest moments they are enjoying. The double the speed and half the price manifest really making them hard to swallow. Now it depend on skmm themselves on how to make it enforced.

True, if gov intervene and insisted that TM must reduce the price for streamyx, they have to follow. But I don't think it will come into reality. TM's profit at some point goes to gov at the end and they have to put half blind into this.

What going on the story now of MSAP things that we heard that they are going to enforced at the end of Aug going to take place? do we streamyx users shall have benefits from that?

I saw TM ppl and their team is doing some maintenance at the TM cabinet in my area. Stop by and asked them, they told me that streamyx in the mid of upgrading and the new download shall be from 10mbps up to 20mbps or even 30mbps depending on the quality of the lines. They however didn't mention the upload speed nor the new plans for streamyx as it will be subjected to hq decision. They showed me the new cards that to be upgrade replacing the old one.

Most probably up to VDSL I guess, as the over head cable connected to my house is still on copper unless they pulled the fiber up to my pole db box.

still too early to pop up the balloons bro. The guys did mentioned that not all numbers to enjoy the upgrade. Few testing phases to be carry out, once completed on the site test, the results to be send to the hq, they will finalised of the eligibility of which. Hope mine is fit to enjoy the upgrade. This will come to weeks and months to implement. In a meanwhile, I am still on current speed until they send the email just like the turbo promotion.

Some little update here, the contractor already completed (or halfway) their job this evening. From my current router modem D-Link 2730e, the port setting is still the same at 10230 and 637, but I see annexM showing beside the G992.5. Previously only G992.5 appeared. Some speedtest to any local server I am getting consistently more than 9mbps (previously only around between 7 to 8mbps) for download and upload still the same around 500kbps and more considering my upload port capped at 512kbps.

oh shiet.... though I've seen the upgrade carried out at the dslam cabinet last few days ago, my house however is not in their list of upgrade.

The same reason before and after the so called upgrade.

I am staying in kampung house, but few poles away there are SUBB serving houses at mainroad side and HSBB at the taman area. By looking at the cables I don't think TM will pull new fibre cables to any secondary road where I am staying now. I am suspect the upgrade is more to provide capacity for those SUBB and HSBB as I can see the agents started to hang the bunting the 100mbps promotion. Last time it was 30mbps only.

8mbps in non unifi area already reached the edge? I wonder what kind of patience needed from most of the 8ers here still paying the full rm160+ a month.

those who are having twit, come burn the YB, unifi and skmm. I see quite few ppl getting pissed about this 8mbps fiasco. Let them know if can't give upgrade, slash the price 😁

This evening some TM contractor workers climbed the pole just in front of my house, testing something from the distribution box. They told me that most of lines connected to the cabinet upgraded to at least 10mbps, I am guessing it is SUBB. They printed a new number onto the pole and the box. It is now VC5003/29 replacing the old number used last time 003/29.

I am getting this from streamyx eligibility checker, it is coming but don't know when.

Facing the degradation of quality since TM 'upgrade' the cabinet where I am connected to now. First my ping shot to between 40 to 50, previously around 20 and below. SNR dropped significantly under 10 from almost 30 previously. Complaint, and they reduced my port to 9303 from 10239 previously. They said my speed is still achieved around 7 to 8mbps despite the lower set up by them. Streamyx is really a sheet now.

The system respond that unifi is coming soon, checked from a miloaois site, my address is now fall under SUBB, previously non.

my house address is under SUBB and not in a pipe they are offering me any unifi services. All related infos already given to them, cabinet and pole nos.

Started from last month most of us on private IP already.

Normal browsing ok, but not for torrent for any dedicated games as far as I concerned. Read that if you want to get the public, need to contact TM by give reason of unable to get your home cctv working.
