"I think we have to start again, maybe have the balance like last season, try to defend first and then look to score goals," Courtois added.

"This season we are conceding more chances than we did last year. We have to try to get that extra step in, that extra percent to stop actions, not be 90 percent. Maybe with a lot of games, sometimes you maybe go a bit less.

"Obviously it is different to last season. Injuries have been coming and not at a good time. We know how important N'Golo is for us, he is the guy that brings a lot of balance into the team. But we can't push him to play if he doesn't feel ready.

"Danny [Drinkwater] was also out for a long time as well. It means Tiemoue Bakayoko and Cesc Fabregas have played a lot of games in midfield and obviously that goes into their legs and it is harder for them to keep up the pressure, especially against the midfield three like Roma had." - Thibaut Courtois

Charly Musonda in talks with Arsenal after telling Chelsea he wants transfer

user posted image

QUOTE
Arsenal have made an approach to sign Charly Musonda after he informed Chelsea that he wants to leave, according to reports in France. Last month, the 21-year-old took aim at Chelsea on Instagram over his lack of playing time under Antonio Conte.

And Foot Mercato now claims that Musonda wants to leave Stamford Bridge in the upcoming transfer window and has no intention of signing a contract extension, with his current deal set to expire in June 2019. The report also claims that Arsenal have been alerted to Musonda’s desire to leave Chelsea and are ready to make a ‘firm offer’ for the Belgian.

Musonda has played only 26 minutes in the Premier League this season and has started just two games in the Carabao Cup. Speaking after Musonda’s rant on Instagram, Conte insisted that the midfielder would get chances to impress at Chelsea. ‘I spoke with him and I think Charly understood his mistake,’ said the Chelsea manager. ‘Honestly, I think he has to continue to work very hard to improve himself on the physical aspect and on the tactical aspect, but he is working very well.

‘He must continue to work in the way that he is and to be focused on the pitch and not on social media, because social media is not the most important thing for his career. I told him this and my task is to help him always find the right way, not the wrong way. ‘Honestly I think, above all with young players, it is very important to speak with them and to try to explain which is the right way. I did this. I am sure that he understood and I don’t see a problem with him. ‘Charly could have a good opportunity this season to play because we only have three No.10s: Hazard, Willian and Pedro. Usually two No 10s play, so this season could be good for him to show that he deserves to play.’

Oh dear........ bangwall.gif

The most comical defending you'll ever see from Chelsea back three.......... laugh.gif

Morata: Chelsea move my destiny; Conte tactics superior to Juventus

QUOTE
Alvaro Morata has explained why he's so desperate succeed for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
Morata knows how hard Conte pushed to prise him from Real Madrid over the summer.

The two have always spoken highly of each other but now at Stamford Bridge they can finally to work together.

“Chelsea made the biggest effort to sign me and I'm so happy to be here. It was my destiny to play for Antonio Conte," Morata told FourFourTwo.

"After bringing me to Juventus before he joined Italy in 2014, I always thought that we would get back together. He's gone to the death for me.

“His is a huge assist, if you like, for me coming to Chelsea, because I really wanted to renew that relationship with him and repay all the faith that he's shown in me. I've already improved so much under him.

“This is perhaps the first time in my senior career that I've started five matches in a row, or felt like the No.1 striker at a club.

“Any coach who gives you that support gives you so much confidence – it's what I needed this year.

“It's a big responsibility being the main centre-forward at Chelsea, because you're the team's reference. You support every attacking move, because they look to get the ball into your feet or into the channels.

“The tactical system here is even more complete than when I was at Juventus, which was based on what Conte left behind. It's all about maintaining the team's rhythm and tactics. You don't have much time to think and you must learn quickly."

You are so dull lah. You expect all positive comments when the team was not playing well. It's not like we were defeated in a proper way, we were thrashed by Roma and also the players attitude in the second half.

We as fans are just stating the obvious and some random guy even accused me of meltdown like I wanted to commit suicide after the Roma thrashing. Where else you want us to discuss positive and negative stuff about Chelsea FC? In the kopitiam thread ahh? You go create a thread lah! smile.gif

I'm speaking on behalf for the posters that kena taruk by other posters that expect beautiful comments only in this thread even when the team played badly...... smile.gif

bro did i mentioned anything about committing suicide? check the post again

Did I mentioned about you accusing me of suicidal? No mah but why is the need to say "when lost the meltdown begins?". I'm sure you are referring to some posters here VENTING their frustration. Salah ker? blink.gif

Meltdown - 1. A disastrous collapse or breakdown.

QUOTE
when i post the meltdown post it meant as general post. why do you have to be so personal about it? unless you felt that the post was meant for you. Did i ever specifically mentioned that to you? are you in the state of emotionally imbalanced after the lost?

When you mentioned in general of course I am included as one of the fan and you could put a proper word like FRUSTRATION rather than meltdown yah? smile.gif

QUOTE
like i said before, for me there are other things in life to be worried about rather than sunk your head and moan about the lost.

Yes I am frustrated but not to the point it will affect my health or mental state. It's just the right place to post my frustration in here and this is just an act of frustration about our overall display against Roma not meltdown! nod.gif

QUOTE
u want to bash its entirely up to you and if i comment about the meltdown its my own personal opinion about the post on the thread and you said i accused you? you can taruk other people but when others pointed something not entirely towards you and you flipped?

your comment speaks volume about yourself
*
So you feel I taruk you but I feel you sindir the whole fans that vent their frustration in here after a lost when you mentioned "meltdown" or going berserk about it! bangwall.gif

Roman Abramovich makes major decision over Antonio Conte’s future at Chelsea

QUOTE
Roman Abramovich has already decided to sack Antonio Conte and is considering Chelsea’s next managerial appointment, according to reports in Spain. Marca claims that the Italian’s relationship with Chelsea’s hierarchy has ‘deteriorated’, he is no longer on speaking terms with the club’s billionaire owner and all communications are going through Marina Granovskaia, a director who plays a large part in the team’s transfer business.

The report suggests that the strain between Conte and Abramovich can be traced back to the handling of Diego Costa’s future during the summer. Abramovich is claimed to have considered Conte’s actions ‘disrespectful’ after the Chelsea manager sent a blunt text message to the striker, which told him that he was no longer part of the first-team plans. Marca claims that the search has already begun for Conte’s successor and the 48-year-old is fully aware of Chelsea’s plans.

The report also suggests that Conte is ‘struggling to improve relations’ with Chelsea’s players and there was tension at half-time in the matches against Watford and Roma.

Man Utd boss Mourinho mocks Conte for 'crying' over Chelsea injuries

QUOTE
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has enjoyed a fresh dig at Chelsea rival Antonio Conte over his injury woes.
Mourinho has accused Conte of "crying" about his squad's injuries ahead of Sunday's big game.

"I know that I moan about a lot of things but I don't with injuries," he said.

"Probably I should cry every week about our injuries. Any other manager would be speaking about Pogba every day, 'Oh I don't have Pogba, oh when (do) I have Pogba, oh all the Champions League group phase without Pogba, oh all the big matches against Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs without Pogba'.

"I don't speak about Pogba one single time, it's only when you ask me about his situation."

Come on guys, title is still for fight until mathematically impossible to win it. I don't see why we should throw the towel in. As long as we are within touching distance and mathematically possible, I say we should remain positive and go for it.

Media is trying to get under Chelsea's skin. And we the fan know it. Be higher level than them please. lol

We know how the media works. They always try to decide who should be sacked and which club should kena taruk to attract viewers and subscribers. We must win matches and that's the only way they will shut up. smile.gif

Antonio Conte ready to axe David Luiz from Chelsea squad to face Manchester United

Antonio Conte is set to axe David Luiz from Chelsea’s matchday squad to face Manchester United after a furious bust up, according to reports. The Italian manager was livid with his side’s performance against Roma in the Champions League, with Luiz given a particular dressing down during an ‘angry inquest’. And now The Sun say Conte is so furious with the Brazilian defender he will omit him entirely from his squad to face United, with Andreas Christensen expected to take his place.

QUOTE
Chelsea have been preparing to play their usual back three against United in training, but in the final session before Sunday’s massive match it was Christensen who was picked over Luiz. According to the report, there has been noticeable tension between Conte and Luiz all week following the Roma fallout, though Chelsea have tried to play it down and insist no bust-up took place.

The Sun’s report claims Luiz fears for his place against United, while Conte is fully aware that dropping one of owner Roman Abramovich’s favourite players could have disastrous consequences if it backfires. Nevertheless, the former Juventus manager is keen to shake up his side after their awful showing against Roma, in which they shipped three goals.

Meanwhile, despite saying Gary Cahill would start in his press conference, Conte could also axe the England international, who was deployed somewhat disastrously on the right-hand side of the back three rather than his usual role on the left. Conte’s decision comes amid growing uncertain over his future at the club, with latest reports saying Abramovich has invited former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to dinner after Sunday’s game.

Another fresh media wind up? hmm.gif

Chelsea vs Man Utd: Why is David Luiz dropped from Blues line up?

DAVID LUIZ has been sensationally DROPPED from Chelsea’s team to face Manchester United today.

QUOTE
Brazilian defender Luiz was expected to start in the must-win game at Stamford Bridge.

But the player will not take part in the clash and has not even made the bench.

Luiz was filmed entering Stamford Bridge on his own, having not travelled with the players on Chelsea’s official team bus.

Instead, he will watch the game from the stands.

Sky Sports claim Luiz is not injured.

Instead, he appears to have been ostracised by Conte after the 3-0 Champions League defeat to Roma on Tuesday night.

Andreas Christensen comes in for Luiz at centre-back, with Chelsea likely to play three defenders in the middle.

Conte’s men need a win to rekindle their Premier League title chase.

The Blues have struggled to balance their title defence with European football this season.

Luiz had given a newspaper interview earlier in the week, predicting a tough clash for Chelsea against the Red Devils.

"Every week is a big week for Chelsea, when you play for big clubs you need to win all your games,” he said.

"And you need to learn when you lose. You must improve to do better.

"We have a big game against a big team. It'll be a tough game, we need to be ready.”

This came from Sky Sports.......how zoidx_chung? sweat.gif
