"I think we have to start again, maybe have the balance like last season, try to defend first and then look to score goals," Courtois added.

Arsenal have made an approach to sign Charly Musonda after he informed Chelsea that he wants to leave, according to reports in France. Last month, the 21-year-old took aim at Chelsea on Instagram over his lack of playing time under Antonio Conte.

And Foot Mercato now claims that Musonda wants to leave Stamford Bridge in the upcoming transfer window and has no intention of signing a contract extension, with his current deal set to expire in June 2019. The report also claims that Arsenal have been alerted to Musonda’s desire to leave Chelsea and are ready to make a ‘firm offer’ for the Belgian.

Musonda has played only 26 minutes in the Premier League this season and has started just two games in the Carabao Cup. Speaking after Musonda’s rant on Instagram, Conte insisted that the midfielder would get chances to impress at Chelsea. ‘I spoke with him and I think Charly understood his mistake,’ said the Chelsea manager. ‘Honestly, I think he has to continue to work very hard to improve himself on the physical aspect and on the tactical aspect, but he is working very well.

‘He must continue to work in the way that he is and to be focused on the pitch and not on social media, because social media is not the most important thing for his career. Roman Abramovich has already decided to sack Antonio Conte and is considering Chelsea’s next managerial appointment, according to reports in Spain. Luiz was filmed entering Stamford Bridge on his own, having not travelled with the players on Chelsea’s official team bus.
