QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Nov 6 2017, 02:48 AM) Can't believe how delusional jose is..claiming that the only moment we were on top of the game was when we scored, and it was mostly an even match. Wat?we were better in all departments, all over the pitch. It's not even an argument. Sheesh. Mourinho caught by surprise with false #9 Bakayoko. He didn't expect Baka to run all over the place like a bull. If Conte put David Luiz in the team, Mourinho would have guessed David Luiz will play as a false defensive midfield position. |

![]() Conte victory? Chelsea technical director Emenalo resigns QUOTE Michael Emenalo has stepped down as Chelsea technical director after a difficult summer in the transfer market for the club. Emenalo has been with the club ten years and has worked alongside ten managers, but may now be tempted by a move to Monaco. The Nigerian has been criticised in recent years for Chelsea’s use of the loan system, with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Mo Salah eventually being sold for less than their value. But Emenalo was visibly happy to see Andreas Christensen excel on Sunday against Manchester United, while he was also instrumental in signing Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois, Cesar Azpilicueta, De Bruyne and Lukaku. The failure of the latter pair at Chelsea is seen by Emenalo as the responsibility of Jose Mourinho. Although Emenalo’s relationship with Conte was not difficult, this is a club with power struggles going on off the pitch. The Daily Telegraph report: ‘Chelsea suffered a frustrating summer transfer window, which caused tension between Conte, Emenalo and director Marina Granovskaia. ‘Sources have suggested that Emenalo does not wish to engage in a three-way power battle with Conte and Granovskaia who are known not to see eye to eye.’ Announcing his decision, Emenalo said: “This has been a very difficult decision to make, but one I believe is right for both myself and my family, and the club. I have had the privilege to work alongside some of the most talented people in the world of sport over the past 10 years, and I will depart incredibly proud of the achievements we have made. I wish Chelsea every success and look forward to following the club’s future triumphs from afar.” Chelsea Chairman Bruce Buck added: “It is with regret that the owner and board of directors accepted Michael’s resignation this week. He has had a tremendous impact on the club over the past 10 years and this is evident in everything we have achieved. We are sorry to see him go but understand his desire to move on and explore new challenges.” Director Marina Granovskaia said: “We are extremely grateful to Michael for his tireless work over the past 10 years. He has played an important role during the most successful period in the club’s history, helping make Chelsea the club it is today. We will now be reviewing our management structure, and Michael will be a part of that process as we look ahead.” First Team Head Coach Antonio Conte said: “I am very sorry to see Michael leave Chelsea, and I would like to thank him for all his help and support since I arrived at this club. I have enjoyed working with him very much, we celebrated a Premier League title together in May, and I wish him the very best for the future.” Who is our next Technical Director? Look from 22s onwards! The first handshake was made and done earlier before the match. QUOTE "It's not important. It's important to win the game. You have to have respect on the pitch. At the end of the match, I went to shake the hands of the officials and then my players. If I shake someone's hand twice, I think it's enough." - Antonio Conte This post has been edited by jovigrunge: Nov 7 2017, 11:39 AM |

QUOTE(fu'house @ Nov 8 2017, 12:22 AM) 22s handshake inside is good enough. Outside to media and world, it's frosty and enemies, no harm not shaking hands anyway. I mean try to imagine. Mourinho take digs on Conte about injuries over and over again in order for the media to pressure him (Conte) instead of him. So when in public, Mourinho offers a handshake. Do you thing he is worthy of a handshake on the pitch after all the shit he's been talking about Conte in pre match interviews? |

Ex-Chelsea coach Wilkins: Conte happy seeing Emenalo leave
Former Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins believes Antonio Conte will be happy with the departure of Michael Emenalo. Emenalo resigned as football director at Chelsea yesterday after ten years in charge. QUOTE “Unfortunately Michael and I didn't see eye-to-eye," Wilkins told BBC 5 Live. “The most important thing at a club like Chelsea is when you're getting players in, it's what the coach wants. It's not what anybody else wants. “And the players, more often than not you're bringing into a club like Chelsea, are world-class footballers anyway. “So they're known across the globe. So you know who you need to bring in to improve. “It's the same with Manchester United. Jose will decide who comes in to Manchester United, no one else. “And I honestly do believe that Antonio Conte should have his own way, bring who he wants to bring in." It must be Emenalo trying to bring Lukaku or players which Conte don't really fancy? |

QUOTE(derthvadar @ Nov 11 2017, 04:05 AM) I dont think any club legend should be appoint as Technical Director. I kinda agree with you. Imagine the pressure that the need to face when dealing with the devil. It will tarnish their image and reputation as club legend. QUOTE(Akmall540 @ Nov 11 2017, 08:40 AM) All the media now keep on showing that Chelsea had crisis. You need to check those journalists background. Everyone got their own boyhood fan club. every damn time we win a match the headlines said " ease the growing pressure on Conte blablabla. why the fuck they try so hard to stir things up within the club? i know they need to sell their paper and so on but at least please be more professional. Chelsea fans unhappy with club’s dedication to Ruben Loftus-Cheek after England display QUOTE Ruben Loftus-Cheek was the shining light in England’s goalless draw with Germany on Friday night – but not all Chelsea fans were happy after the midfielder’s performance. The 21-year-old didn’t look out of place on the international stage in his debut for England’s senior side and delivered an accomplished display against the world champions as Gareth Southgate’s No.10. After playing just 31 minutes in the Premier League last season, Chelsea took the decision to sent Loftus-Cheek out on loan to Crystal Palace this summer in order to get more time on the pitch. And it appears to be working as the midfielder capped a solid start at Selhurst Park with an even better performance for England. Chelsea were quick to jump on the hype by congratulating Loftus-Cheek with a dedicated post on Twitter. Pity him. Talent not shown in Chelsea due to lack of playing time. Victor Moses claims Cesar Azpilicueta has had the biggest impact on him at Chelsea QUOTE Victor Moses has praised Cesar Azpilicueta for his leadership qualities and believes the Spaniard has had the biggest impact on him at Chelsea. The Nigeria international, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, was one of Antonio Conte’s standout stars last season as Chelsea secured the Premier League title. Moses’ positional change to wing-back was surprising to many at Chelsea as many believed that he had little future at Stamford Bridge after loan spells at West Ham, Stoke City and Liverpool. But the 26-year-old has credited Azpilicueta for helping him adapt to the right side of Conte’s 3-4-3 system. In an interview with Goal, when asked which Chelsea player has the biggest influence on him, Moses replied: ‘I’d say Azpilicueta. ‘He played a huge part in my defensive development last season. ‘He is always behind me, always constantly talking to me to make sure I am in the right position. When is the time to go and when’s the time to stay. ‘The more games I was playing, we were getting used to the formation and position I was playing, which worked out well for me and he helped a lot. ‘He understands me. We established a partnership which was very good. ‘To me, I would say that Cesar is underrated. As a defender he has got everything. He’s quick, he’s got that desire, passion for the game. He just wants to play football. ‘Azpilicueta is never tired. He can run all night in every minute. He wants to play every game. I think he could play on a Saturday and then again on a Monday. He’s got a great ability. ‘It is great for us that we have him. He’s someone that loves the game. ‘He is always talking to every player before games. He wakes everyone up and says we have got to go out there and win this game.’ This post has been edited by jovigrunge: Nov 12 2017, 09:37 PM |

Eden Hazard was known to destroy defenders but in this case he destroyed the linesman too!
