yeah, agree with you regarding the rewards. i'm actually not after everything, just some of bits and pieces, like what raptor mentioned.

plus i'm not sure how far we can proceed when we start moroes tonite with the gear that we all currently have. i'm sitting that fight out atm and letting our holy priest and pally go in tonight.

well, best of luck to ya - for the record, you do still get arena points even when you sitting on the 'bench', just less point compare to your 'active' teammates

as for me - i think arena is just another way of saying 'grind more'.

sure its hell lot better than the awfull PvP ranking system than before (takes a total no-lifer to be rank 14), still after grinding that much to hit 70 - more grind is like a foul taste in da mouth

and if ur gonna sit out in ur arena team, you need to participate at least 30% of the games to even get points.

heh, grinding is ever there. thing was, i didn't do the whole honor-rep farming back in Nov-Dec 06 because of exams. so i don't feel the intense pressure that people felt.

coupled with the fact that prior to WoW, i was playing a non-PvP resource gathering game. imagine making and transporting 1 million bricks. ><

play 30% n get the same amount of points no less.

so the 30% is just to "qualify" and you get the same ammount of points?

This chinese rogue has put in a lot of thoughts for arena pvp and is updated daily. Hope it helps some of you.

your warrior, priest and mage will prolly hafta spec pvp to do arena. I was on pve spec till we hit 1800-ish, then i had to respec to pvp too. Over time, we could still stay in pvp spec and do kara at the same time because we have another warr who'll MT (and be the prot spec).

What raptor said. And you can't hit 1900 rating and above in 5v5 if your holy priest doesn't have 3/3 Blessed resilience and your mage doesn't have Ice Block or Blazing Speed (or whatever it's called).
