Ok, after the Shah and - Y - thing, now we have an ex semi pro player from UK here who thinks he is above all. Could they be the same? The thing is that I cannot fathom how can you be a little more superior by being an ex semi pro player? I mean, I know lots of pro players who are complete idiots, Gazza for one, Jason MacAteer is another. Being a football player simply means that you have played the game before, that you are better than others when it comes to playing the game and have better skills. However, when it comes to mixing with other people or something that is called social skills, you might have 0, simple as that.
It's just like saying that just because someone have a bit part in a movie, then they are supposed to be a better movie critic and can provide sound opinion about all movies. This is bollocks. being a fan is about knowing the game and the club as well as everything connected to it (Man U with the Munich disaster, Liverpool with Heysel & Hillsborough), while being an ex player has nothing to do with it.
Perhaps our friend is alittle bitter that his club did not do well in the league or that Astro doesn't show their games, or who knows no one wants to hire him as a pundit (or was it pundek?) or his application for Newcastle's manager's post was rejected. I don't know why but I think all of us ( I mean the sane ones, you know who you are) agree that our dear friend is about 5 cans short of a 6 pack and basically is like a kid who doesn't understand how the world is, it's a bit like you know Autistic (no offence to all autistic people by linking him to you guys) or in our colloquial terms, kuku. Again, no offence to all those who are kuku or know someoone like that.
One thing I must say though, his posts did provide us with lots of entertainment, my favourite would be when he threaten to throw the toy out of the pram by calling his UK friends and fans to come and laugh at us. Till he grow a brain or evolve from being a unicellular organism to a microorganism, I suggest that we ignore his posts and treat it a entertainment.

Admit it mate, you're just a bitter old cnut who has nothing better to do in live and has no friends therefore scour the websites with kids to bully. Don't know the reason, perhaps you didn't get enough attention from whatever, but I just think that you have not answer a lot of the question put forward to you and that your views are extremely contradictory. As mentioned by the mod who banned you, if you have nothing constructive to post, please refrain from doing so. Or better still, go and open a new thread called "I am the REAL real fan" or something that makes you feel happy.

But then again, that was just my view, you'll have an entirely different view in which you'd think it's correct so I apologise in advance if I have cause you any discomfort or anger. Of course, your view are always correct and you are the ultimate when it comes to knowledge and relevance in football, that's why people like me still bother replying you. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

As like any other discussion thread, it's longevity depends on your ability to put forth a decent argument backed by either facts, or at least some reasoning. How often to you see 'mortal enemies' like myself, kobe, airmood, jonno, madmoz, etc sharing the same thoughts and agreeing on the same subjects? The answer? Seldom. We do however have one thing in common. We back what we say up with reasoning. If we can keep doing that, I see no reason for a thread to be shut just because of one instigator.

There has been some contraversy when it comes to YNWA with people saying that it wasn't a song that was developed for Liverpool or that other clubs sing it. Whilst that;s true, Gerry Marsden from the band "Gerry & The Pacemakers, who was a huge Liverpool fan presented the song to then manager, Bill Shankly who immediately took to it and made it our anthem. You could therefore say that while the song was not written for us, it was presented to us and what a song. It encompasses the belief within the club and it's no wonder fans still sing it even if we're losing.

"Though your dreams be tossed and blown, walk on! walk on! with hope in your hearts".

The song teaches us to grit our teeth, face adversity head on and to never lose faith. It's why I say not knowing the lyrics to a song like this one makes a big difference.

The song "You'll Never Walk Alone" first appeared in the musical "Carousel" in 1945, in the scene where a girl who was knocked up, remember, this is the 40's, she didn't know what to do, they sang the song in supporting her and tell her that they will be behind her, all the way.

Although the Gerry & The Pacemakers' version is the most widely known version in the world, this is merely a cover version of it. Shankly adopted the song because he wanted the team and the supporters to have a connection, to want the supporters be supporting the team through thick and thin, and at the same time, the team supporting each other through bad time, may it be during a match or a bad run of results.

There are a lot of clubs that sins this song around the world and probably the MOST famous football related song in the world.

Just thought I'd share icon_rolleyes.gif
