Not sure a viewing party is my kind of thing though, seeing that I'm a student. Secondly, being a student. I'm always broke!!! Heheh. But there has been a fair few in the thread who I see are keen to organize viewing parties among themselves though. Thing they've already done it a couple of times as well.

Probably not the best experience to compare to but when I go to watch matches with my friends at mamak stalls( which is a rare occurence), people tend to moan and all when things don't go our way. Irritates me to be honest. Yes, one is disappointed but to b**ch and moan all the time, it's bloody irritating. Hence why I choose to watch the match at home. No one disturbs me and I concentrate on a game. If Rooney flips someone off, I'll see it. Heheh. And as I told Duke before, although I watch the game at home, I'm a bit of a nutcase. I sing a long to the songs and you know that collective roar the crowd do when the ball hits the net, I do that to. Hahaha. Chances are when you go outside, you're more likely to hear..."Gila ahhh Rooney, terer nak mampos"...or..."Fulamak Gerrard" or "Wah lau weh Ronaldo"....

But rest assured, if I get to watch the game at OT it will be a whole other matter though. People can b**** and moan all they want.

QUOTE(Jonno @ Jan 21 2008, 04:46 PM)
air_mood, so how? you rackon you can gaather some players from your thread for this tribute game? Do let us know, I am eyeing the date 15th of Feb as 8th is still CNY and many would not be available. You keen? If everything is ok, then we'll proceed to book the courts.
Since this is a Man U tribute, we'll let you guys wear red while we'll come in white (most probably).
Please let us know early so we can book the courts first.

Don't think that I'm trying to run away, but I think if you put up this idea in the Man United thread, I guess many will be up for it. I'm at the stage of my life where I go to classes in the morning, work at night and weekends. Need to save up some cash to pay my ACCA annual fees which is due next month and my exam fees which will be due in April.

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Jan 21 2008, 05:22 PM)
A friend of mine has just got married and moved to Manchester with her hubby who is working there. I've met him a couple of times and he's a manc. Guess what? I met him at the wedding and he told me he lives just behind Old Trafford. He now walks there for matches on the weekends  laugh.gif

Damn, you just have to make me all jealous don't you?

Damn, i pity him. You can hear the roars from miles away!

And there's definitely loads of roars for him to listen to ain't there?? Especially those collective roars when the ball hits the net....heheh.

Can you do us a favour and put it up your thread and ask someone to take over? I posted there today and the thread went dead for like an hour, I am seriously worried now...  icon_question.gif
*
No need to worry Jonno. The thread is always sorta dead at this time of the day. And the fact that's there's no games anyway close means the traffic is even slower.

QUOTE(-Y- @ Jan 21 2008, 10:24 PM)
ok. let me clarify you.

the word roma is still in my heart meaning i cannot resist to 'not love' roma (when batigol era). eventhou i love milan. understand. yes i love them both.

for the futsal player.. i just say why on earth you guys love to firing other ppl though eventhou ur not a professional? get it. even SAF oso love milan. so wtf?

air_mood? on 3rd degree? good for him. i already finish my study n have my own career now. which mean im older than him.

bout the history thing? what i meant was, dont say u an otai in football knowledge (cos u know ur team history). u dont like this my thought. u said this ppl r not loyal. should be killed. idiot. kids. & oso u dont like when somebody say, wow ronaldo terer la. roon so good la. blah blah blah. hey? who r u? u have share with man u meh? SAF know you meh? this is football. it represent everybody. who r this futsal guy. dont like this. dont like that? what the f? who r u? respect other ppl la..

hope clarify you.

i know u know each other. thats why u guys always backup2 1. its ok. dont belagak la. dont say anybody idiot la. very kurang ajar.  doh.gif

To clear things up, easypeasy was pulling your leg. I'm 23 and am currently doing my ACCA.

SAf loves Milan??? Seeing that he has never ever declares this, how would you know?? I've seen him praising Milan, praising Roma, hell he even praised Reading last week, so does that makes him a fan of all 3 clubs??? No bloody chance in hell. Praises are just praises, being a fan of is a whole other matter.

Listen, I don't care if you're 5, 15 or even 50, when you behave like a kid, get ready to be treated like one. So the feck what if you're older than me?? The term glory hunter, jumping ships and supporting multiple teams is normally associated with kids seeing that kids can rarely make up their mind and usually go with the flavor of the month. But seeing that they are kids, understandable really since kids barely have principles. it's a seldom occurrence that they do have one. it develops over time, as you get older. You keep trying to point out to people, you have a career and so on and yet common sense seems to desert you. It just doesn't make sense that one would support two clubs, in the same league and both being competitive with each other in the same league. So who do you support when they play each other?? Chances are you'll say you support club A to club A fans and say you support club B to club B's fans. It just doesn't bloody make sense. that question seems to have trumped a certain Chelski fan this evening. He snuck back into his coccoon although I see him back out now as he found a fellow multiple club supporting mate. That particular Chelski fan gave the bullcrap answer that he'll just sit back and enjoy without showing allegiance to anyone, showing that he's no bloody fan in the 1st place. you're going to go for the same answer??

Again you're reading it wrong. Whoever the feck says they are an otai in football knowledge ehh?? you know why people say you're not loyal?? because you simply arent. You divide your allegiance. Who the feck cares whether I have share with man United or whether Sir Alex knows me??? The fact remains that i love my club, wholeheartedly and without any division. I wouldn't even have to think twice about who am I going to support when my club plays.

Backup?? What the hell do you think this is?? A school playground fight?? There's no bloody backup. First of all we are fans of separate clubs who just happen to share the same opinion. the fact that you think this is some sort of ganging up shows your mentality really, a primary school one. Don't expect to receive respect when you clearly don't deserve it. No bandwagon jumper, glory hunter or multiple clubs supporting so-called fans are going to get my respect that's for sure be it you are 5 years old, 15 or 50 years old. I'll respect a 7 year old kid if he deserves it.

To clear things up, easypeasy was pulling your leg. I'm 23

Learn up some English I suggest. English is not just reading what's being written, you have to learn to read between the lines. Ever crossed your mind that it's just bloody journalism?? That's a bloody headline you're posting, care to post the rest of this so called proof that "Sir Alex loves Milan" as you're quite clearly trying to bulls**t everyone here.

And I would suggest you have your brain checked - nothing personal eh , ha ha ha  biggrin.gif
If you have never played the game competitively , then how can you really talk about football .

How do you know what it is like to cut a ball back or cross and the diff between the 2 ?

It's like me talking about surfing from watching TV , not much credibility.

As for me , I dont support any team anymore Im just bored with the whole shiet.

but I see nothing wrong with local fans switching teams as long as it is not taken seriously .

I mean how can someone like you or some local MU fan feel so " emotional " about a team 6000 miles away in foreign land and foreign culture .

What the fcuk , some of these people talk like they were born / are living next to Manchester / liverpool / west london etc .

What a load of bullshiet .

This is of course a new media creation creating pseudo white morons , who will foverer be enslaved to the TV , exactly what the TV cocks want.

Oh and just my comments , remember nothing personal ......
*
Not gonna bloody answer to this again. If you bothered to read back you'll find your answer on why we're passionate about our team, something which you obviously clearly know nothing of.

Meh, I'm going to start ignoring the prick, waste of my bloody time that's for sure.

Instead of posting damn one liners how about you say something ehh?? The last ramble you had exposed you as a fraud, someone who's claims to be a AC Milan and Chelski fan and unsruprisingly not willing to show your allegiance to a particular club should the 2 meet each other. So much for loyalty ehhh?? All that Forza Milan or Chelski forever coming from you are nothing but mere rambles then, no meaning behind them.

As for national teams, not a fan of any in particular really. Do like to watch Argentina play though. But it's just that, like...nothing more than that.

i no y b c the kay are or you am guh han. That's pretty much your language, so you should get it right???

The general feeling has been countlessly summarized. And the findings are....

People who support multiple clubs :-

a) have no sense of loyalty
b) have no common sense to know that it doesn't make sense to support 2 teams in the same league
c) are spreading their chances in hoping that one of their club eventually wins so are technically glory hunters

and in some special cases, like yours, are pricks. So now...how do we end this??? Oh yeah....feck off ehhh??? You got another thing coming if think you should be respected for being out and proud with the " Hey world!!!!!!!!! I'm a Milan and Roma fan!!!" So again in conclusion, piss off.

these 2 clubs no.. no count 3... u'll easily find another one
*
Rambles again. happy I'm not a Chelski fan. Would be embarassed to have one like onboard. Can't even back your own club in a game because of a supposed affinity with a potential opposition. And to have the cheek to call yourself a Chelski fan.

yeah for some.. but i am not as arrogant as you. pushing others. they aren't involved in this.. let them be.. it's your attitude.. why you think u so special? came from rich family where u can buy all those things and with proud went to old trafford. that makes u one big fella here. when saw something slow, something small. all the way u want to squeeze? what's wrong with you??? Man shakehead.gif
*
Whoever the feck say anything about being rich and going to Old Trafford?? Most in the Man united thread knows I'm a working student paying off my own education. Can't even afford to buy a jersey and I'm supposed to afford things in Manchester where everything is sevenfold compared to our money.

Stop changing the subject to my behaviour. The subject at hand is you're no Chelski fan even though you claim to be one. A fan backs him team thru thick and thin, thru the good and the shits. You on the other hand clearly stated that you'll, in your own words I might add "just sit back and enjoy" if Chelski plays Milan, not willing to show allegiance to either one as you claim to be a fan of both. Division of allegiances. So much for showing support to the team that you claim to support ehh???

Meh, I can't believe I wasted my time with this prick. I've already explained time and time again why I think he's a prick and again he's asking why, what's wrong with this, what's wrong with that. Either he's blind or he's ignorant. Very high chance of both. People like this are what's wrong with football today. The ones that taint the support of a team. Have a talk with that Chelski and Milan fan ehh?? you both will work wonders. can probably discuss the magical world of spreading chances of winning, of supporting multiple clubs. We on the other hand will stick by our club thru all the goods and the shits.

Shut the feck off??? Learning up a bit of English wont hurt as well. Might be useful in that illustrious career of yours.

Don't play the "I'm old" card I suggest to you. You certainly don't act like one, sure as hell your brain doesn't work like one.

Stop asking for respect, that;s something you'll never get. You don't deserve any.

then if you wise enough. tell me how to measure the level of REAL in your definition... who the heck are you telling me that i am not supporting Chelsea. Why i like Milan is not even your matters. They only meet in CL. How do you know i didn't put my faith in Chelsea. For those lalang who ran away when JM got sacked is the THING that u mentioned just now. I might not the same as you who spent all day reading about your real team. I got life to begin with. U might think that it's only your words is better. That guy just log in here. he's telling what is in his heart. why can't u accept it. let it be la.. is it hard for u to accept it.. i got pissed by the way u treat others here. one time i read, it's just some delusions but it counted more than one time.. well Milan and Chelsea is not in the same league... OMG. So wise even Chelsea didn't know how to spell...

Oh ok sorry i tot the real u is about going to Old Trafford..
*
Tell you how to define real?? I'm going to stop short of calling you stupid, very close but I'm going to refrain. Read up on the bloody thread.

How do I know you won't back Chelski, you already gave your bloody reply didn't you. you wouldn't point your allegiance but instead went along with the Sit back and enjoy crap since both of the teams you support are playing.

And why I say you're not a Chelski fan but clearly a plastic one?? Read up. Not going to bother explaining again. But yes, you are a plastic fan as you wont back you team in the scenario mentioned before hence plastic fan.

And don't finish my Uni studies on time?? How the feck would you even know that?? You don't of course but merely talking out of your arse. Have a talk you 2, you'd enjoy each other's company with all the glory hunting and multiple team supports going on.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here. Although I believe in only supporting one club like some here, I do see where -Y- and shah are coming from. The arguments are between 2 different sets of viewpoints; both think they're right. And the thing is they are both right, depending on where u stand. We all have differences and we have to accept that. And u can't blame them for taking it personally when the language used by air_mood has been far from accomodating. It's the same with religion; alot of the strife we have in the world today is the result of inability to accept each other's differences. So i suggest everyone to just calm down and take a step back. Just hold back on the insults.
*
It would piss you off as well and when you already said why, they keep asking asking who, how, why and so on?? And I don't know how much you know regarding my stance on this multiple football club thingy, it's a big no-no for me. If you remember, I had a go at that certain fan(should I name names??) who proudly claims he is a Barca and Madrid fan. As I keep pointing out, it just does not make sense. But fact of the matter is, that's what you get with casual supporters. They barely give a feck about a club's history or anything else regarding a club.

The likes of shah_ho_nam, they're in way over their head here hence you see all the throwing in about university education, family status and all that crap. He basically knows crap about what he is speaking about and already been exposed as one who will not back his team thru and thru. And yet has the cheek of calling himself a fan. It's an insult to other fans who backs the team thru and thru IMO. He doesnt even know what a plastic fan means even hence why you see him then referring to me as jelly. I had a good laugh.

They are lucky they are in the LYN forums. Go to a proper Milan, Chelski or Roma forum. They'll get banged left right and centre. There's a good community of people who support multiple clubs hence why they can find solitude here.

To be fair to me and Jonno, we did explain our points properly at the start. It's only when they started to keep repeating themselves and making up stories( Sir Alex loves Milan????) oh and yeah, started becoming comedians when things went hostile. So much for "Lets Bring It On" ehh?? We brought it on and they were moaning.

Football is essentially a blue collared sport and most avid fans are from blue-collared backgrounds. Maybe that's why someone with a PHD coming from a privileged background doesn't understand it.

Nah, I'm talking about after how he and his colleague told us to bring it on, their counter arguents was I'm rich and already went to Old Trafford. Well, if I already did, then somehow I myself didn't know about it. Hahaha. Oh yeah, there was also the comment regarding how I never finished my uni education so he is better than me. Supposed to be cutting I guess but seeing as I don't really give a feckm a cutting comment falls flat on it's face. There's also the fact that it's not true which of course played it part in the not-bothering column
