QUOTE(8sg9ft @ Jun 6 2021, 10:22 PM) Inside line does not necessary mean racing line. Perez line is much better, which is why I meant what I said. The car is so much lighter now, which mean they carry so much more speed, on the somewhat cold tires. This post has been edited by andrekua2: Jun 6 2021, 10:33 PM |

QUOTE(ctw88 @ Jun 6 2021, 10:27 PM) It's always easy to blame others for own mistakes  I didnt blame RB for Lewis mistakes... lolBut this time even LH didnt blame anyone but himself I'm just saying this is what RB are aiming for since they asked for red flag. You are just too into your own imagination. I personally loved these tactics deployed by these F1 teams. Mentality battle until the very last moments. Any other teams would have just finished 1st under SC but not RB. This post has been edited by andrekua2: Jun 6 2021, 10:36 PM |

QUOTE(ctw88 @ Jun 6 2021, 10:37 PM) Just curious did you make any conspiracy theories when bottas crashed with russell at Imola, giving Hamilton a chance to claw his way back to 2nd? If you can do a calculated crash like Renault did in Singapore, anything is possible. Cold tires or not, the brakes are definitely smoking hot F1 has been boring for quite a while and this year seem to provide somewhat interesting results so far. If you think I hate to see RB or other is winning, then you are just delusional. |

QUOTE(ctw88 @ Jun 6 2021, 10:40 PM) Dont be crazy la. If what you said is true, it could cause a massive pileup. You cant predict so much where everyone will go and fall according to your plan. That would be deliberately causing a massive crash which is unthinkable. F1 has been more mental now than ever. Previously the car in front would just cut you off but now there's gentlemen agreement about giving a car's width which is rather pointless since there's only one racing line. Season still has long way to go. This result is good for the championship anyway. Too bad Max crashed out due to no mistakes of his own. I still think Mercedes is stronger on racing tracks which is why RB should maximise points collection from street races. |

QUOTE(ctw88 @ Jun 6 2021, 10:48 PM) Nope I just think you're over imagining things with your theories. Things just happen, move on. The last thing you would wanna do with a tightly cost-controlled modern F1 is sacrificing a chassis+driver so early into a season If MV won driver's title this year by this margin, then this race will become the talking point why RB asked for red flag instead of finishing behind SC |

QUOTE(voscar @ Jun 6 2021, 11:45 PM) Saw somebody pointed out how irony Hamilton was doing Vettel's 2018 mistakes, guess this year he's cracking under Verstappen pressure. I think it is a wasted opportunity. It was stupid, but luckily still early in the season. I think his mistakes in China where he beached his McLaren is more idiotic."some kind of poetic irony in Hamilton’s mistakes this year – his mistake in Imola was almost a 100% copy of Vettel’s from Hockenheim 2018, and his mistake now hugely resembled Vettel’s lock-up after the restart in – where else – Baku 2018." voscar liked this post

Wow... Just watched Indy and holy cow, what an exciting race. The steering input is pretty much like those days F1. The only thing hard to keep up is strategy. Crazy pitstop fiesta.
I like how fast they cleared the car with just a simple jack. Spare cars, less aero, refueling... F1 is killing themselves I like how they are able to use a certain amount of kers for entire race. Just imagine if you get a certain amount of drs and kers every race and the front car won't be just a sitting duck. This post has been edited by andrekua2: Jun 14 2021, 02:43 AM |

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Jun 14 2021, 12:49 PM) Ya cuz it's so bumpy that they must do constant corrections, must be pretty exhausting! 😆 Put things into perspective of how tough it was to race F1 in the 80s with such brutal turbo cars, bumpy tracks with much lesser safety, plus manual gearbox! Nah... I prefer this Indy kers. You can choose to use it whenever you want, subject to the time limit imposed for whole race duration. Also the aero as well because they are able to tailgate so much closer. I think they should have a spare car... Really miss those spare car days.Ya maybe F1 should think if activation of the has a time limit and the usage is at the drivers discretion but only on the straight of course. This is like DTM rule with the DRS. |

LoL
Mercedes sacrifice Lewis but even that can't save Bottas. Should have gone for the win. |

It was intense... let's see how this shaped up.
I still don't get if there will be difference but I think the reduced practice time will certainly reduced the amount of race simulations each team could perform thus bringing unexpected results to those who gets it right. |

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Jul 17 2021, 02:10 AM) Great pole by LH and not bad also by VB! So Mercs may still have a chance, especially as SP is underperforming by quite a margin. Seems like MV and RB were over confident a bit. I think he's the closest to emulate what Alonso did with a so so car which earned him the promotion the next year. Lando also did well but he did start with a better team which had much more resources to develop the car.Great lap also by GR able to beat CS and SV. This kid deserves a much better car. |

Man, so this is what we're missing with lesser fuel load. Hopefully refueling will make a comeback. RalphRatedR and 6UE5T liked this post
