Got one local Thai food restaurant taukeh partner with a Thai, who is also a programmer.
Even though the local POS software can masuk Thai character but we is having difficulty talking to their staff because they all speak only Thai.
Ended up the programming partner code his own POS software in just few days time.
Ayam is amaze.
Update: According to the local taukeh partner, his Thai partner pay is already > RM 10k

If your assumption is only based on software engineer's salary, it is a bit premature to declare 'Bangkok salary > KL Salary, Do you feel cukur?? 50% higher!!!' don't you think?

More like talk cock about theory knowledge etc but they can't perform in actual production. The team I was working with have a few Principal Engineer which is higher than the senior, then junior, then intern. The highest position is the manager. My boss had just employ a fresh Degree holder Quantity Surveyor for 15,000 THB per month, there is plenty to choose from.
He is now looking for a Project Manager with a budget of 100,000 THB per month.
