Got one local Thai food restaurant taukeh partner with a Thai, who is also a programmer.
Even though the local POS software can masuk Thai character but we is having difficulty talking to their staff because they all speak only Thai.
Ended up the programming partner code his own POS software in just few days time.
Ayam is amaze.
Update: According to the local taukeh partner, his Thai partner pay is already > RM 10k

If your assumption is only based on software engineer's salary, it is a bit premature to declare 'Bangkok salary > KL Salary, Do you feel cukur?? 50% higher!!!' don't you think?

I know cause I am in that line, Fresh grad score 18/20 on a test get 2.8k, senior software engineer do the same test get 12/20 get 6k salary. After 3 months the senior got sacked while the fresh grad workload = the senior workload+ fresh grad workload. It's the truth. No appreciation for talent.
