I took AIME as my chance to practice and train my skills on shooting machines before going to bigger motorshows like KLIMS 08. For the 1st time, i shooting more machines than ladies, maybe there aren't many show girls afterall. Pls kindly give me c&c on this series. I need to get some feedbacks in order for me to learn and improve my shots so i can prepare better for upcoming motorshows and KLIMs 08. Thanks notworthy.gif

i donno.. but feels like they look underexp and still vivid to me..

some compos are fine, but some are too tight alto u're shooting portion of the bikes, in that case actually your kit lense'd help unless you've sold it. smile.gif

personal preference, still learning to give comment and no offence.

if the ceiling is high, you'd need a high powered flash to bounce.
if you bounced your flash to the ceiling and the ceiling is black, the light will not bounce back down.
the color a bit red because the camera compensated the wb to counter the flash light but since the flash didn't reach the subjects in the frame, it becomes red.

usually if i were shooting, i'd turn off the flash, adjust the wb to match, or just do a custom on white object, dail up the ISO and shoot.
if you dun mind can visit my album to have a look.

Ya lesson learnt. I should have used my kit lens coz i was using my 55-200. Was trying if such lens helps. Looks like my AIME is a failure, but lesson remain learnt. sweat.gif

Thanks smile.gif

Ermm.. yes exposure is nicer than the previous set. As kenzio mentioned the weaknesses, you still can improve on the compos and perhaps try some new angles in order to pop out the subjects.. it's not necessary to shoot the subjects with the same height level all the time. bbtat and tkf13 have some good angles which shoot from low sides. however, it's so difficult to do it with your 55-200. Perhaps you may bring along your dusty kit lense (if you have 1) during similar situation events.

Secondly, personally feel that the colors are yellowish/reddish too.

Lastly, try to avoid any distractions or blockages.. understood it's hard to do so in such a busy event.

Sorry but no offence, still learning to give comments. smile.gif

Travis, you dun need more events / photo shoots ... you need to UNDERSTAND colour and how to express yourself in photos.
