This game is amazing....... all the pew pew pew pew followed by more pew pew pew pew not to mention the pew pew pew pew and did I say pew pew pew already?? My god this game is amazing..... beautiful..... I had a digital pew-gasm when I played it last night.

Agree. I was sceptical after falling terap to the SWBF1 during the discount by EA.

But Star Wars Battlefront II was different. There are now point system to accumulate during in game battles to acquire troops/vehicles giving players the progression approach, the weapons, vehicle, upgrades variety are almost double of the previous, and the graphic feels really smooth even in large scale battles.

This game makes me feel like an expendable grunt.

I still feel meh.

Not gonna pre order it straight away.

GG with Zars and poodle , super fun to do objectif and killing too.
at least the card system is better then last one.

still dunno how to fly space ship. keep on crashing.

Space ship battle is a bit hard to control. Keep on crashing. I like the arcade mode tho. Using Darth Maul and killing off all the troops is so fun haha.

I'm waiting for the game review before deciding to purchase this game. Learned it from the Star Wars Battle Front I.

I played SWBF 1 at the very end of last year. Totally hated it with only less than 1h game time before moving on.

This SWBF 2 Beta I also cincai try only. But surprisingly it exceeded the expectation. The adrenaline of meeting a Death maul or whatever it is called is real. The laser shots impact when hitting an enemy feels real. The avatar design whether its the storm troopers or the MTT or WhatTT was very detailed. I am totally not a star war fan, but ayam enjoying the game very much.

I am hearing most of my gamer friends they want wait for review. But I played the beta. I like what I saw and experienced. Day 1 for me

It seems quite promising based on your feedback. Hopefully the actual game will turn out a blockbuster and who knows, I might join in the game.

But question is, should I get console or pc version? Heard that PC has lots of issue, and server will be lacking of gamers as time goes by.

Cant wait for the release of the full game, enjoyed Battlefront 1 and Battlefront 2 from the beta looks good.

The demo is kinda good especially the multiplayer

season pass for Battlefront 1 is free after a year

Only played once the beta using droids in assault map using officer. Definitely much better than the first game. I feel like I can contribute more than just shoot & shoot.

No ppl online most of the time though, sad.

I played the demo. Seems clueless at times on what to do and there's no communication between teammate in multiplayer

Haha if u played the beta, the naboo map objective for the storm toppers would be to grab the bazooka objective and fire at the MTT tank. Also took me a while to realize the objective. Was too busy dying to notice.

Well you cant be the elite heros like Luke and Vader etc until you unlock them which will take a while.

If the gameplay and graphics is the same as beta with no downgrade, I think the game is good to go.

The thing ppl complain about, rmt. Well I guess that is an inevitable trend. But the gamers I know in marehsia are hardcore enough to beat rmt players without using rmt. They power yoh I just grunt follow behind only! Don't plan to spend money on a ea game's loot box. Playing casually after work la, not score chaser.

same i wont spend on those in app loot box. just steadily play every day and enjoy the music.. story.. environments.. and grind to unlock more heroes.. and stuffs.. graphics to me is pretty decent!

This game has the most down voted comment in Reddit history after it was revealed the 40hour grind for Darth Vader. New patch has cut down to 7 hour grind.

EA didn't learn lesson to not simply implement lootbox ? We are paying full price of usd60. This is not a free to play or mobile game.

Star wars will attract enough gamers though, no matter what.

They reduced it by 75% already after all the backlash, i played like 2 hours and i have already unlocked Vader so its very achievable.

Because initially it was 60k credits for each hero, now its 15k credits, its very easy to get 15k credits especially due to the milestone rewards.

during early access for Origin Access/EA Access on PC/Xbox the cost for unlocking Vader & Luke was 60k. now they patch the game on day 2 after the early access release and drop it to 75% from 60k.

after all these fiasco, i think i won't buy this game until it is completely free or at least 50% off the original price. EA basically treat this game using P2W model, but still charge you a full game price.

And yes you didn't see wrong. 40 hour to unlock a hero. They did the math using the spreadsheet. If you do not have time to go reddit and see what's is happening, let me just summarize the current event for u.

1. To unlock 1 hero, yes 1 hero u didn't read it wrong, you will need at least 40k. The most expensive one is 60k, darth vader and luke skywalker is among the most expensive one.
2. You cannot unlock hero through loot crates or aka loot boxes. You can only unlock using credits.
3. To earn credits, you either earn from completing matches or buy loot boxes using real money.
4. Earning credits by completing matches will be the same for everyone, even though you placed last of that match. For example, if you perform very well, rank 1st in the match, your credit earned will be completely same as the the person who ranked last. People also proved that you can farm those credit through AFK for the whole match. Some match which ended short will have shorter credit earn for example the rebel failed to capture the 1st objective so the match ended. The longer the match, the higher the credit u can earn.
5. People from game review website already proved that buying loot crates will make you very powerful since u already have all the rare star cards equip and credits u got from loot crates to upgrade to even more powerful star cards.
6. Arcade mode have a time limit on how u earn your credits. For example if you complete today arcade mode and earn 300 credits, u need to wait 24 hours later to earn that credit if u play the same arcade again.
7. EA have already reduced the cost to unlock hero to 10k, BUT they didn't tell u that they reduced the credit earn per match.
8. People have started to cancel their pre-order from EA until EA even remove the refund button from their online sale website, have customer have to call their customer service to help them do the refund.
9. EA going to do an AMA on reddit on Wednesday to do damage control, and it will be interesting to see how it goes.

EA did the same shit for need for speed, and now they are doing this on the most beloved movie franchise.

I wish hacking software would release hacks for this.
Hacks to give you infinite points or something.

If they do. Technically it's not cheating online as everything can be legally owned. Thats just denying EA their greedy cash grab.

After they back step a bit...it is still BS.

You need to play minimum 10hours to get to play vader...another minimum 10 hours grind just to get your hands on luke....the rest also will totally more than 20 hours to unlock.

Remember that all those 10hours are not fun grinding play...you will get your ass kicked all the time because you do not have good cards because you will spend your credits to unlock those characters. sigh...fun EA.

of course unless you're a whale.....you willing to flush another hundreds of dollars on top of 60 dollars that you pay to play the game. Good shit.

Honest opinion, whether Luke or Vader needs 120 hours or 1 hours to unlock, don't really care much. I joined other game's with ppl chilly equipped with god armor while I'm holding a wooden stick before. Just going to go on and do our things. This feels like playing on high difficult setting now. 1 star card fight against full star card. Our health 100 enemy players health 250. This is going to be sadistically hard as he'll!

Once game is bought can refund anymore.
Players have no choice but deal with MT.
Temporary mean it will be there...may be very soon after people purchase it.

Problem is not just the micro transaction.
It's the long grinding hours to unlock stuff.

the game is fun. problem is the the game progression sux. u will need to grind for hours to unlock something. if u want fast u need to pay.

don't support a game that ask u to pay full price and then want u to pay extra for the full features.

it seems that EA are finally woke up and listen feedback, but the damage on them has been done so many years.

Price of battlefront will surely drop after 6-12 months.
Battlefront 1 price was slash to half after a year.
After 2 years, probably below RM60 or free.
Same goes to other EA games as well.

I've bought a lot of FPS games at less than half the price.
Hardly play multiplayer due to many pay to win mechanics. But for single player, that's ok.

I'll get it after the price drop.

I've tried the beta and myself and friends really liked the gameplay. Especially the smooth graphic, engaging battle scenes, battle points each match to unlock special troop/heroes, and the large scale battlefield that you can ambush or being ambushed by one droid/storm troopers.

But I guess the micro transaction really enraged the community. Since launch day there has only been post and post about the loot box and pay to win hates. How can they let players play through hard and blood time to unlock a hero, and then another person just pay2win loot box and unlock everything, and then say it is to help players feel accomplished and pride? Then the issue of 40 hours to unlock a hero now cut down by 75%, then the rage that credits earn is also reduced by the same percentage. Then the EA community responded to NEET and further enraged the online community that ppl saying they are cancelling their orders. Some actually called Disney to complain about it.

With so much hate, we all foreseen that the game is going to be in the discount bin in 6-8 months or maybe even in 1 month itself! It will be unstrategic to buy now and see your friends buy it at discounted price few months later. Everyone is holding back on the purchase on this title. With so much hate, I guess there is only one thing to do now..

Am getting error code 721 unable to connect server since yesterday night.
I have tested my LAN connection and able to access PSN store with no issue.
But just unable to play multiplayer....help needed!

It was the setting issue with DNS in my PS4 not being able to download update 1.02. Solved now thanks.

Had the same problems. Check my Sony Entertainment Network acc, it does show the same
as you highlighted.

One solutions for sure is to contact EA Help(http://help.ea.com), which I doubt could solve the problem in a timely manner.

The campaign is probably a 4-5 hours game if you like the star war story. But the most enjoyable part would still be the multiplayer mode.

But the story mode is pretty intense. I utube all of it while playing multiplayer. haha.

You can probably wait for BFS or Xmas for potential discounted price if just for story mode. Personally, despite all the online complaints on the micro transaction etc, this game is still a well done game with quality storyline and fun multiplayer modes. If you think its good enough value for you, go for it.

I have the same issue. Pre-ordered since July/ Aug the Elite Troopers Deluxe Edition and till now no bonus content. Contacted EA from the help link, PSN, EA twitter, FB all seems very slow in solving problem or replying to address the issue.

Nevertheless I enjoy playing the game despite the p2w fiasco, just a bit down not getting the bonus content yet. Mostly play in 20 vs 20 mode for fast weapon progression.

My only wish that PS reproduce the SW Force Unleashed.
