I wish hacking software would release hacks for this.
Hacks to give you infinite points or something.

If they do. Technically it's not cheating online as everything can be legally owned. Thats just denying EA their greedy cash grab.

it's like playing counter strike with other team get rifle and you can only buy a gun

Yeap.
Only rather than just a few matches.
This handicap will be permanent unless you pay loads of money or play for a very very long time.

They should had given the option to unlock at least 60-70% of the items just by going through the campaign itself.

One of the main reason I hate EA like multiplayer fps these days. Pay to win.

so tempting to get it now since they temporary cut off mircotransction

Problem is not just the micro transaction.
It's the long grinding hours to unlock stuff.
Stuff which affects gameplay.

Price of battlefront will surely drop after 6-12 months.
Battlefront 1 price was slash to half after a year.
After 2 years, probably below RM60 or free.
Same goes to other EA games as well.

I've bought a lot of FPS games at less than half the price.
Hardly play multiplayer due to many pay to win mechanics. But for single player, that's ok.

I'll get it after the price drop.

Thanks.
I bought the standard version.
Not much time to play, still going through the campaign slowly. It's not bad at a little over half the launch price.

Gave multiplayer a try after finishing up the campaign and DLC campaign.
It's not bad, especially when purchased at a good price.

Far better than the similarly priced gundam versus I bought. There are far worse games you can get at this price.

High level players are really hard to kill.
Both of you start firing, and you'll likely to die first due to weapon difference and my tracking aim is bad esp with a controller.
I'm always ranked in the middle with no chance to rank even top 5.

Until I cheesed the way through with a speeder and just ram everyone in starkiller base hahaha.

There are multiple ways to play the game.

1. If you are gunning for top ranking, there are class specific skills that help you boost and get easy points at start. There are also cards that enhance points gained. And you can go gun for objectives for max points to stay on top.

2. If you want to ignore scores and go for the kills satisfaction, pick any class that you feel you performs well killing. May it be assault, heavy of officer and start blasting people to maintain top kill score.

If you just want to enjoy a star war lore battle scene with troopers around you falling left right from pulse grenade, AOE cannon blast from MTT, thousands of laser shots from storm troopers that usually doesnt hits anything, and the fun of being slice by a Jedi's sword, ignore No. 1 and 2 and just enjoy the game

I'm the type who just wants to have fun.
Maybe not die so much and unlock some weapons/cards to try.
The fact that they remove (for now) the micro transaction is good. So a good amount of players are still not too imba. So at least my kill death ratio is not like 0.2 or 0.3. Those really rage quit.

Personally the microtransaction didn't affect my early game play even when I started back in Nov. Reason being not everyone who bought the game is straight gonna dump USD100-200 into the game to unlock lootbox. Or Asia players who bout the game and straight CC RM300 into loot box. There are those rich people, but not everyone will be doing that.

But nowadays with the game being launched for so long d (Since last November), some people are maxing out the cards already with daily game play. I myself with no microtransaction already reach lvl 28 assault with capalang cards. And still get 2 saber hit and die by a Jedi. The cards do impact the game, but I seen new players without any good cards owning full cards opposite forces before. Not me, but the people I played with.

Don't let the high lvl thing gets to you. It's quite a norm for any games with grinds. Its not that IMBA yet, somethime I think my opponent are just good with headshot and aims  dry.gif

I'm just a casual player who may play once or twice a week. Who don't want to spend money on microtransaction.

With other grind heavy gps games like battlefield/COD. The experience of dying before even a single kill most of the time leaves a bitter taste. Sure can farm a bit but when 70% of the other players is at max Level... why bother.

Give 2 players of similar skill level. One with the best upgraded weapon, the other with the basic weapon and level 1 card/skills. The one with the better weapon/cards will win most of the time.

It's not so bad in battlefront. But I believe a reason to that is the lack of microtransactions. If there are still microtransactions, there will be even more players with better cards. Maybe just 2-5 noobs like me in a GA match and we'll be forced to feed everyone and our progression will be super slow and discouraging.

Is it just me or almost everytime you load up a multiplayer mode it's either an empty lobby or one with a couple of souls in it? Ever since the latest patch. I've had to wait at least 5 minutes for a lobby to fill up...
Hey! Don't worry about being new to the game: a lot of people still are. The game is still hella fun and addicting on its own, especially if you're a Star Wars fan. I myself just got it a week ago and everything's okay. It might be a bit scary to go into multiplayer modes in the beginning, but there's plenty of offline games for you to practice and get used to with so it's not really a problem!

One note though, happy dying as a noob. Practice makes perfect tongue.gif

Yeap.
It's harder to get a match now.
It is not uncommon to go online and to be the only one waiting for a the game.

EA going to start to selling Loot boxes again ,but it is only for cosmetic purposes. As for game progression, players need to earn from the game.

Since now PSN is having sales, do you think it is good time to jump in ?

Star Wars battlefront 2 is having sales almost every other month.
2 months ago, it took me 5 minutes + to get a match and I got matched into Empty lobbies occasionally.
Coz of that, I quit.

If it's still this bad, then it's not worth it.
