They need sales as much as they can.
Once game is bought can refund anymore.
Players have no choice but deal with MT.
Temporary mean it will be there...may be very soon after people purchase it.

Problem is not just the micro transaction.
It's the long grinding hours to unlock stuff.
Stuff which affects gameplay.

I think i will avoid this game for now... So many reviews are bad......

the game is fun. problem is the the game progression sux. u will need to grind for hours to unlock something. if u want fast u need to pay.

don't support a game that ask u to pay full price and then want u to pay extra for the full features.

alot of bad review are coming out... guess I will wait for Battlefront III then

Game was fine to me, just that everything pay to shortcut;

it seems that EA are finally woke up and listen feedback, but the damage on them has been done so many years.

Price of battlefront will surely drop after 6-12 months.
Battlefront 1 price was slash to half after a year.
After 2 years, probably below RM60 or free.
Same goes to other EA games as well.

I've bought a lot of FPS games at less than half the price.
Hardly play multiplayer due to many pay to win mechanics. But for single player, that's ok.

I'll get it after the price drop.

Last PSN sale, FIFA18 (2 months old game) was discounted about 50%.

I've tried the beta and myself and friends really liked the gameplay. Especially the smooth graphic, engaging battle scenes, battle points each match to unlock special troop/heroes, and the large scale battlefield that you can ambush or being ambushed by one droid/storm troopers.

But I guess the micro transaction really enraged the community. Since launch day there has only been post and post about the loot box and pay to win hates. How can they let players play through hard and blood time to unlock a hero, and then another person just pay2win loot box and unlock everything, and then say it is to help players feel accomplished and pride? Then the issue of 40 hours to unlock a hero now cut down by 75%, then the rage that credits earn is also reduced by the same percentage. Then the EA community responded to NEET and further enraged the online community that ppl saying they are cancelling their orders. Some actually called Disney to complain about it.

With so much hate, we all foreseen that the game is going to be in the discount bin in 6-8 months or maybe even in 1 month itself! It will be unstrategic to buy now and see your friends buy it at discounted price few months later. Everyone is holding back on the purchase on this title. With so much hate, I guess there is only one thing to do now..

Tried deleting an re-installing - nothing.
