Same interest in your Acer ET430K.
I want to check if there is permanent image retention, would that count under product defect and you will fix/replace the monitor?

I really like the product but the reviews so far are pretty discouraging. I can bear with temporary image retention but if it would be permanent then I definitely won't consider buying if it is not covered under warranty.
