itu yang memenigkan kepala aku tuh.. This console have been tested for at least 5 hour without any hang or hick up.. sampaikan ade yang terkejut incik fizan tetiba terror pakai sniper on LIVE.. Even he tested himself at my house without any flaw.. but suddenly when he brought back this console and plug in in his house terus 3rod.. and this not the first time.. It's the second time happen...
Feel sorry for you fizan but dun worry I will come to see it first hand at your house what r the other possibility of this problem. There is rare case which I read that the problem also can be cause by the third party VGA cable and also power surge..

I will bring my multimeter and ammeter to test the current at your house this weekend.. try to use another source of wall plug and try to used back ms original component cable... maybe this will help us pinpoint the problem area..

pelvin as we speak your console now undergoing my GOW 5 hours stress test . Your 360 now officially equiped with my NOS mod.. . . now it pass the first hour without any hick up...

Anyway after last night 5 hour gow test your 360 is ready for collection anytime.

just to share my thought.. even though we know 360 is really suck in the ventilation solution but there is a way to counter the problem.

The only thing important is how seriously you still wanna play those console. Like Edora.. he just forget about the cosmetic presentation and leave his 360 naked as long as he can enjoy playing all the game. That's what I called hardcore..

we all now how suck M$$ at this maintaining the heat problem but nevertheless we all enjoying playing most of the game in this console.. so at the end is your choice.. wanna stop or continue playing..

A lot of my fellow comrade have gone due to MS banhammer long time ago.. really sad if more to leave due to this 3rod thinggy..

Just to updated, Succefully revive 3 units console belong to Jaysquare, Stevenlys and Shamrwk friend.. with Installed NOS mod.

Updated: revive MK84 360 with xclamp removal and ferricide with additional NOS system included.

Update: Revive AXLbigboss 2nd time 3ROD and also Lester 1st time 3ROD consoles. Both of them are now fully equipped with NOS mod..

Man.. seriously if you ask all the revivor out here.. we are really seldom face the 1rod situation.. but than when it come.. it always ending with the sad stories.. FYI 1rod is happend because of the ANA chip failure or even worst the GPU chip failure.... i having a case with one of the forumer here being hit by 1rod and already trying my very best but still no hope of survival..

But as you say you still playing it hard I think maybe it only caused by sudden shock of your system.. hopefully nothing worst happen to you.. touch wood..

To all forumer here which sending the console for revive and NOS mod, I'm really sorry because have to delay the time line coz my father just got car accident yesterday. This past few day gonna be very busy to settle up the case and I only can start concentrating on the console maybe middle or in the end of next week.

Really sorry for delaying the job and I hope you all understand..

Dear all.. I'm sorry that I will stop taking any 3rod console for the moment until all the current console being revive.. It's too many and I out of hand edi.. Need to concentrate on the current console and have to cop up with my work too..

Sorry for lack update

Sadly I have to inform that I will no longer take any 360 for the repairing job.

For those who already your console to me I will try my best to revive it and will let you all know soon.

I'm very sorry because of my nature of work now I have very limited time to concentrate of 360 repair.

ok for all wanna know. NOS mod is actually a combination of several mod. Like bro Virgil say yes part of the mod is to convert the original 5V fan to be direct feed with 12V source.

But what a real deal inside the nos mod is to add the xtra 50mm 12V fan directly to blow an air to the GPU heat sink. In addition there also a customize air tunnel from the xtra fan being add to make sure the air goes direct to the GPU heat sink itself.

not forgotten also the important divider in between the original 5V fan cover to make sure each chipset get their individual fan to suck hot air out of th system.

In addition, the nos mod also include the metal casing cutting and also console cutting to make better air flow to the system.

Just unscrew back all the GPU and CPU heat sink and screw it back properly. for CPU, turn the board upside down and press the CPU heatsink under flat surface. Then firmly push the center of the CPU chip and screw all 4 corner evenly. For GPU try find any object that higher that the CPU heat sink and press it directly at the GPU heat sink.. do the same on 4 GPU screw.

2ROD after boot up indicates poor contact between the chip and heat sink (thus resulting overheating indication).

Happen to me several time and after readjust the pressure screw everything work fine.

Good job man.. This solution is the best so far but the bad thing need to put the dvdrom outside.. now if you can find a method to make a dvdrom outside more nicer like the optional 360 hd dvd player than it would be awesome!!

Anyway Congrats to you my you my young Jedi.. err.. where did you throw my extra NOS fan?.. hehehe
