Now playing this game with Vista.. somehow I feel that the game is kinda slower than before... and I have yet to found where should I put my C&C TW folder which is supposed to stay in username\Application Data...

Dmn.. learning curve in Vista sure is annoying...

Arrrggggghhhh......... this is driving me crazy... just log-in to Lobby 6 just now... and not only you guys... even those Germanies seems to have totally dissapeared from my view.


What the *** is happening with my connection.. or izzit Vista?? I can log-in to lobby 6... no problem... but I can't see anyone else inside...

Please tell me it's EA's fault.. not my Vista... pleeeeaaasssseeeee

Geez... this leaves me no choice other than revert back to WinXP. Stupid Vista... even originals works like a pirates... or perhaps those free Vista for MMU student are recon ones??


Erm.. this depends on your style of playing and how you play with each faction. Nod is fast.. and GDI/Scrin depends on late technology in game.

Of course it is faster to defeat enemy using 30 Mammoth than 30 Avatars but Nod is fast early in game... so depends on your play style la...

Home Premium?? Ultimate?? Or the one MMU student get (mine is that.. my cousin get it for free.. and decided to give it to me after I beg him for it since he already has Vista Ultimate in his PC)... seems that this MMU version really problematic lar...

Which makes me wonder why I can's see anyone in every Lobby... but just now.. it seems that I can still see those in my friends list... but in Lobby.. all is empty.

However... your post do actually relieved me a little... I was hoping it isn't Vista that cause this stupid thing to happen.. more like EA faults to me

Meaning you can actually see other players?? You didn't see LowYat members there.. probably becoz they aren't online. Haiz... if such stupid problem doesn't stumbled on me... I will definitely accompany you for some game tonight...

Once you register online (appear once when you installing the game) then you just create another id through C&C3 in game menu (Multiplayer => Online)

No matter what you choose... I still not able to defeat you... even if you are using the weakest faction in the game

arr... just wondering...

I know the ladder will be reset when 1.05 is released. But all this time I thought all stats, and rank insignia will be reset too. Until someone told me only the ladder rank will be reset.. not the stats and rank insignia...

Can anyone please clarify this to me?? Will everything be resetted back or just the ladder rank...

Currently I seldom online due to my Vista giving me an ultimate lagginess.. so until I get myself a Core 2 Duo and an 8800GTS... I don't plan on playing online at the moment.

But then got this fella... wanna play online like there's no tomorrow (a friend of mine) saying that since the rank and stats won't get resetted (he's the one who told me that only ladder rank will be resetted.. not the insignia rank and ladder).. and with the list of bug fixes released by APOC.. he wanna utilize all those exploit until the patch is released to increase his rank. The ironic part though.. his rank is only Rank 2

Well.. I do wish him luck though...

*Well... his first try to launch a Mothership attack from wormhole failed miserably though

Well.. as far as I know it will definitely affect everything in the game from the menu (left click style of gameplay menu added) until the balance of the units.

Which means.. definitely single player will be affected as well...

Need to buck-up la... expansion won't help much (expect it though as the story is still hasn't finish yet)

C&C4... I dunno la if I shud expect that to be release in 5 years time from now... kinda impossible
