Well, friend only cares for the freebies (t-shirts, mouse pad, tiberium bag). So if they no longer offer these items, i might as well just grab the normal edition for him.

I'm from Sarawak btw. But i'll ask my bro to buy fer me cuz he's staying at KL biggrin.gif

One thing about the Nod infantry. They are so OUT OF PLACE!! If you guys played Tiberian Sun previously, i'm sure you'll agree that the Nod infantry looked so much cooler that time. Look at the militants in tiberium war, they looked like a cheap recruit... i mean, they don't look like Nod soldiers sad.gif

And the flame tank... the devil's tongue looks so much cooler sad.gif

But the absent of the mobile stealth generator is really a sad one sad.gif I also prefer the stealth generator in Tiberian Sun over Tiberium War. The disruption tower has a wide cloak coverage, but the tower itself is revealed.

And the Nod soldier ain't as cool as in Tiberian Sun or even Renegade tongue.gif

Probably EA decided to drop the subterranean tech because of the difficulties on graphic rendering a unit coming out from below biggrin.gif Or maybe the Scrin are so into air units that they never thought of subterranean units from the Brotherhood.

You playing on super easy setting?

those are some of the worst units to counter the tripod, one tripod can kill dozens of them before going down.

except for mammoth tank (with railgun upgrade), 1 on 1 mammoth wins, I've tried, but mammoth suffered massive damage.

If you have patch 1.05 and above installed, zone trooper can easily pawn tripod.

Judging from the design of the sonic tank, i bet it can't fire while moving...

Seems like Nod will be having the super soldiers back to field. The right arm looks like the one of the Avatar and the left arm looks like the tiberium rifle of the CnC Renegade ohmy.gif

QUOTE(Dark Steno @ Sep 29 2007, 02:35 PM)
Obviously I was asking something related with C&C world. Apparently, Black Hand was Slavik's special units in Tiberian Sun for Brotherhood of Nod. Slavik was a freedom fighter before joining Nod. He created Black Hand special forces when he gained ranks within the Brotherhood. While he is an ardent supporter of Nod plus a great leader, he was not that popular among the higher-ups of Nod. Jealousy, envy, something like those. Therefore, Black Hand can be seen as separate faction in Brotherhood of Nod. There were battles between the ranks of Nod in Tiberian Sun and Slavik commanded Black Hand units against the others.

I thought General Gideon Raveshaw is the founder of the Black Hand elite force?

Just don't understand why ea must include the tiberium harvesting ability to GDI's epic unit. Sounds lame for a combat unit to harvest resource doh.gif
