make sure it is 55B24 (JIS), some people will con you to buy 46B24, which will give you less power and will effect performance.

I mean key battery bro. Suppose is button type of battery right?

my FC having below problems:
- engine have some sounds, like something loose sound, can hear it the moment engine start
- when i rev my engine >4k rpm, or running >130 kph, i can smell burn smell inside the car.
- no smell detected even when traveling long distance (>5 hours, around 110 kph or below).

any idea what problem is this? gonna send to SC in few weeks time for checking, to match my service schedule (i dont have time to send earlier, as i wont have any car to use).

Yours is TC or 1.8? I do have the smell as well when I do a hard acceleration. Is like rubber burning smell. So far... now the smell like gone. Also not sure what is the problem. I did asked when I went to service my car. Initially they thought mine is TC, said is turbo... but I told them mine is 1.8... then ask me monitor. So far the smell like no more.
*
1.8, same like urs. Problem start since few weeks ago, age of car is around 2.5 years. What bout urs?

Wah... 2.5 years car. Mine happened during 6 month down on the road. Now not much smell.
Refer to KnightSports response.
*
Mine is not under long time duration of high exhaust time. As long as I run about 130 or Rev above 4K, the smell will come, even if it’s 5 mins after I start my car.

I tried driving 4 hours non stop, 110 max, zero smell. So not related to time I think

With a rev limiter under 7k revs, revs above 4k is quite much into the top end of available revs.

I haven't cruise at those speeds. But i recall in my old car it does have some smells after a while at above those speeds but not really that noticeable unless i wind down the windows or leave the aircond to vent from outside.

p/s: also how is your 130kph doing so much revs? You are constantly in S? I remember it should only be close to 3k revs at best.
*
i mean either i am cruising at >130 kmh, or rev up to 4k rpm during overtaking. either 1 of this condition will produce the smell..

for me is abnormal, because i use to drive at this condition >2 years, but no problem. it starts only few weeks ago

Continental mc6. But saw real user reviews on fb, it good on dry but poor on wet. Best value for money will be Hankook tyre
*
I will try to avoid mc tires, as it is very noisy when driving on cement surface like basement carpark. A simple turn will produce a high screeching sound.

Any comments on bridgestone re004, michelin primacy 4 and yokohama advan db?

Generally around 60k - 80k km is time to change tyre. But most importantly to check if the center tyre marker/indicator already hit to ensure that the sign to replace it
*
If there is no crack, and its still far from the indicator, meaning the tyre is still usable right? Even if the tyre is already 4 years plus.

Any suggestion what tyre that can perform better than mc5 besides ps4?

Stock is DOT3. But ok for DO4 since it's "backward compatible". Just don't use DOT5.
*
Ok, thanks boss for the info.

Btw, DOT4 should be able to perform better than DOT3 right for civic?

Hi guys, any recommended shopee/lazada sellers that sell genuine parts for honda? Looking for items like engine oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid and etc.

Most important those parts/fluids must be genuine, instead of imitation.

Thanks for the link. I am willing to pay premium for guaranteed ori parts, as long as the price is lower/comparable to the price given by Honda SC.

My Panasonic lasted me 2 years, it was showing about 60% then I decided to change to Amaron Hi-Life, so far after 2 years still last read out I recall was 95%. Pretty impressive, and this is with the covid-19 situation whereby my car would be sitting there for weeks... drained battery.
*
Thanks. Meaning based on your test, amaron hilife seems to last longer? May i know how much u bought the amaron?

QUOTE(limkj @ Dec 21 2021, 12:38 PM)
Yes I changed at the SC in Jul 2020. The Battery was Panasonic Battery 55B24LSMF. I paid around RM280 fr the battery at that time.
*
Thanks, good to know. I might aim for this battery next.

Based on my experience the Amaron lasts longer, I didn't use any of them to failure yet. I bought it for RM280 back in 2019.

I think Amaron Hi-Life is better than Panasonic.. 2 yrs back I changed Panasonic + Labor @ SC around RM300 (Used for 1yr 9mth). Now should be more expensive.

Sept21 changed to Amaron Hi-Life NS60(18mths warranty) for RM 250.. cheaper n easier. Come to your house and change. You can try whatsapp Vinbattery for latest price.

Ok, thanks for the info. Guess i gonna try Hi-Life for my next change. Currently using the Go version.
