The leather surface isn't really stable and one push on the top is enough to get it move, not properly installed. Around half centimeter movement vertically.
I exit the car and lock it. Nothing happens even if i walk away and wait. Light's still on. I have to off it manually every time.

And sometimes same with the folding mirrors. Sometimes it forgets to fold-in. 

damn quite a price, I have come to a point i don't give a shit about my civic ad.. cat chillin & pee on my car also I don't care ad.. counting days to sell it off

One month into owning the TCP and problems already arise.

1. When the car is moving, and i turn the steering wheel, behind the steering wheel something gives out "clicky noise" sound at a specific position, around 40degrees against clockwise. Like some debris is stuck there. Has anyone encountered this before?

2. The gear stick seems it has loosen up. Even when it's in mode, let's say "P". I can do tiny movements horizontally which gives out "duk duk" sound. (you switch modes vertically)

3. The arm rest bends when i move my elbow on it or press a little bit with a finger.

4. Not sure we even have this feature, but no matter what i configure, the auto head light off doesn't seem to work after i lock the vehicle. The light is always on and i need to off it manually every time. Auto turn-on works.

I dont know how this stolen method works but it is the fastest and easiest way for insurance to pay you. Lots of people been using this bolehland method

Used to have a emotional club member.  He had problems with fc 1.5 tcp since collection and always complain about it

few months later he lodge report car got stolen. Few weeks later compensated on the value and it is lot higher than selling the car

I believe you need a third party dongle to get wireless AA/Carplay.

Yeah I don't get the point of wireless AA/Carplay, but constantly charging the phone in order to use AA had seriously deteriorated my samsung phone battery haha. To be fair the phone is 3 years old so the battery itself should kong soon

Seriously I'm not buying the wireless aa/acp idea. Realistically, by using the current method i get information displayed to my HU while getting the phone charged.

(Except if the car come with wireless charging pad)

quite easy to install. tools you may need (depending on whether you want to remove the rubber strip):-
1. flathead screwdriver
2. heatgun/hairdryer(i used hairdryer)
3. squeegee (personal preference)
4. blade + cutting board (to cut into size)

Honda Service Center dishonesty. My Dashcam Captured the mechanic is not using the requirement engine oil for my car today, 19 Sep 2020. My car is a Honda Civic 1.5 turbo which require a Fully Synthetic Oil and the specification for my car engine oil is 0W-20 Fully Synthetic Oil. But my car was given a low grade 10W-30 Mineral Oil. This oil is not suitable for this Turbo Charged engine and it will deteriorate the engine lifespan. My bill was charged and written 0W-20 fully Synthetic Oil which is not the case during the oil change.

A month after steering rack replacement, tiny 'tok tok tok' sounds are audible again.. Hmm....

Anyway, I wanna say a few good things about the civic 1.8 (Aug 2018) so far.
a) Notice that the side skirting are a separate part. So even if scratched, I tell myself no prob, one day just change to some bodykit.  I notice other cars, this bottom area is one with the body.



b) This car can take corners really confidently.

c) The Brake hold is really useful in jams. I like how drama free it is when u press the accel, whicl releases the car immediately and smoothly.

d) the 1st Gen 1.8 rims are quite dirt n dust resistant. haha..

e) CVT response is really immediate and so far it just goes when I want it to.

Yes! It is heavy and leather-bound, the video demo is very convincing. After this i will need to think about what other locks to fit in or GPS tracking.
