By the way, anyone did ceramic pro coating, paint protection film (ppf) & tinting to your civic?

I did. Rm3900 for coating plus tinted. They give free PPF for headlamp,side mirror n door scuff. It’s 7 years free maintenance. Well as others said it is really watermark magnet. Just did two weeks ago. So far it look great. Need to wash the car weekly if rain season mean. But after wash it’s look glossy n nice. The coating itself is rm3500 n tinted is rm400. So for 7 years it’s rm500 per year n I don’t need to send polish or wax. Just send to them two times a year for free touch up. I calculated this way n take it. Hope it’s worth it

It’s depend on usage they said. Some can tahan till 6 months. But whenever u feel it’s no more hydrophobic u can send for recoat. For free. So I planned to recoat two times per year.

There are some complaints around the new facelift model . for tcp spoilerlight issue, steering sound.

I would recommend you to research and evaluate personally and dont fully depend on those complaints to evaluate your purchase. Complaints from Lemon Unit Drivers are always more visible to public than those drivers with no issue with the car (usually silent).

Also all brands and cars have lemon units

I was thinking to change my car as I was diagnose with slip disc with permanent back pain. My current car, Honda Jazz, give me very bad back pain if I drove long distance with it. As per doctor advise, he advise me to change car with softer suspension and good lumbar support.

My first instinct is to change to Toyota Corolla Altis, as most of the review I read/view say the car give good comfortable drive. I test drive it and it felt better but the test drive is not long drive 

For the comparison, I went to Honda showroom and test drive the new Civic, and the turbo engine somehow pull me from Toyota    and in short test drive, it felt same in terms of comfort with Corolla.

So I want to ask fellow Civic owner, is Civic is comfortable for long drive?

yeap, I test the seat and tilt front upward really makes my seating position comfortable. Can you share the lumbar support you buy from lazada? I search in lazada lumbar support and been bombarded with so many products 

Hi guys. Just wanna share my experience in a shopping mall.

I’ve witnessed an attempted car theft in ioi mall putrajaya. The thief was trying to steal a brand new white civic when i was walking pass the car. I thought it was odd that the civic’s alarm went off without anybody around or inside the car (windows not tinted), so i stopped & stared at the car. Suddenly, i noticed a man ducking at the driver’s door. Knowing he was seen, the culprit quickly got up then walked very fast into a blue car with very dark tinted windows that parked just behind the civic. The scary thing was my car parked right opposite the culprit’s car!  So I hurriedly left the parking, and once i was outside the mall i called the police straightaway. Throughout journey home, i kept glancing at my rearview mirror because i was so worried of being followed.

This experience kind of makes me on edge. Knowing honda civic is one of top cars get stolen, plus witnessing it with my own eyes really adds to the anxiety.

So, I’m just wondering is it worth it to invest in pricey steering locks (e.g. stoplock ultima priced at rm699) or raslok? I’ve read somewhere it took 119 noisy seconds for an expert to break the stoplock.

Anyone has any experience using stoplock ultima or raslok?

I’m planning to use steering wheel lock together with a pedal lock from now on. Is it too much? I’m also considering to replace my current steering lock with a higher quality one.

The civic that almost got stolen did not use any steering lock. I knew it because the windows are not tinted so i could see the inside of the car very clearly. Maybe thats why it’s appealing to the thief?
