My car also have some weird moldy smell, i think it usually after the rain.

I replaced the windshield and it cost 2k to 2.1k By right the insurance cover the tinting too but my insurance only cover until 2k. So if possible, i think its better to cover 2.5k to 3k.
So that you can also apply a new windshield tint after replacement.

Having an issue with the car.... omg..

was driving at normal speeds today and wanted to accelerate to overtake a vehicle. when stepping on the accelerator .. suddenly felt that the car was jerking and didn't want to accelerate... happened for a good few seconds and it was only when i let off the throttle and accelerated again that operations went back to normal...

has happened a couple times already.. anyone else experiencing this????

i actually had this once then never face it anymore. was cruising at 140kmh and when i accelerate further, it just stay on(no jerk). i have to release the pedal then try again and it back to normal.

same here, booked on 5 nov, no new from SA for allocation, cant wait to get the car.

Just get my car last week. 3 months waiting.

And I have 1 problem to ask, when I totally turn off my car engine. But after tomorrow I wake up walk to the car why the car light still on ? I have to use the car key to open the door .

u can set the lights to turn off when u shut the door

1.8 owners, do u mind share your car fuel consumption?

Even I turn off the light still will face this problem. 🙁

Mine can get 14.9-15.0km/L. 70% highway, 30% normal.
Highway Speed : 120-130kmh avg.

no because they will say they can't replicate the issue. can't be bothered(for now) as it only happened once so far

Just a heads up; there is a new Android Auto version (2.8.574514). Downloading now, so not sure if there is anything new or just bug fixes

I encountered something similar, but it was inside a car park where the floor was wet due to rain. When I try to accelerate a little above the average acceleration, the car will be like not responding and jerk . The pedal felt unresponsive, i have to let go and step on the pedal again only it can react.

Later on when i try again, i noticed it was the car's anti slip mechanism kicking in.

Don't have any spare key inside the car.

After I off the engine and lock my car I walk back to my house. The light is still on since civic is auto light. But after around 30 sec the light will automatically off.

But for the next day morning. I saw my car light is on. Include day light and the projector headlights. ( I don't bring the car key near by the car ). So I walk back to get the car key to try to open the door. But I can use the alarm to open the car door. I need to open the door by using the key.

And after this , I will manually turn off the light before I off my engine.

But today morning I saw my car light is on again.


Tomorrow will back to sc check

Civic can't set to off. But I manually turn off the light before I off the engine today still facing the same problem.

Wonder if you accidentally set to the force on drl instead of auto... thus it didn't turn off by itself.

^this. Seems that you did not set your lights on auto, but DRL/Headlights mode. When in the morning, you pressed the unlock button, therefore the lights turned back on?
