QUOTE(Kelvin8998 @ Jul 22 2018, 12:12 AM) New Civic family on the road ask SC check.. Just got a quick question, my remote engine start doesn't seem to be working very well. SA told me to hold the button until the red light flashes on the key fob, then can let go of the button, then wait awhile and it will start. I tried it maybe 10 times, and it only worked 2/3 times. Is it because I used the walkaway auto lock function? Also I found out that if I press the lock button (when it is already lock) before trying to start the engine remotely, it would work. Any help / advice? Thanks! I have auto lock on, remote start works all the time so far.. |

QUOTE(stinky @ Oct 11 2018, 12:57 PM) You mean we can just change the rubber part and no need to change the whole frame? Honda wiper refill has different width 10mm, not many selling refill with right size.BTW, Civic is whch model for Bosch? CLear Advantage or Aero? update: Ok i did some reading from you said and found out that just change the rubber insert. Any recommendation which brand to get? Bosch has the insert? Keyword to search: mitsuba If you Don't mind wiper not "original factory", is easier to just change the whole thing. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Nov 5 2018, 01:42 PM) I think its about RM250 inclusive GST back then. But the same model can be bought at RM200 or so, its a McGard OEM for Honda anyways. I brought it 180 + 6% GST earlier this year from Honda stockie. Good idea, should hunt for one... not sure if there exist such app or not. Weird enough I tried Waze without connecting to the car, it is just warm no hot like what I felt. Found one... but its USD1.99 The lock nut I mean. Can only tighten by hand (advisable with torque wrench) and don't lose the key else expensive and hassle to replace. Made In TRUMP land A lot scary story on youtube This post has been edited by AhBoy~~: Nov 5 2018, 05:11 PM |

QUOTE(KnightSports @ Nov 5 2018, 05:12 PM) Actually RM200 for 4 nuts is literally nuts. well, different people value things diff'ly.I rather buy a complete 20 piece set and replace all of it. Most probably around that price range as well. Might not be the flower shaped lock but still a lock nut. some ppl also spend on rims and body kit (+1hp) My another Myvi, I just slap it with RM30 lock nuts Talking about nutsss, I also know someone changing full set to McGard, price tag? lets not go there This post has been edited by AhBoy~~: Nov 5 2018, 05:20 PM |

actually the Honda lock nut(is also made by McGard) is price cheaper than the "McGard" lock you can find on lelong, lowyat forum. Go search for it, easily find some seller selling it 300~400

Imagine when this happened to you, is 100~200 bucks for a good/genuine set of lock nut still feel alot or too much?
Of coz doesn't mean it 100% won't happened when you install a good set of lock but I believe it greatly reduce the risk your car got targeted due too difficulty and risk for the thief himself. Near my apartment, don't care wira, myvi or kancil also I see ppl kena before.. This post has been edited by AhBoy~~: Nov 9 2018, 01:12 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |
