New Civic family on the road 

Just got a quick question, my remote engine start doesn't seem to be working very well.

SA told me to hold the button until the red light flashes on the key fob, then can let go of the button, then wait awhile and it will start.

I tried it maybe 10 times, and it only worked 2/3 times. Is it because I used the walkaway auto lock function?

Also I found out that if I press the lock button (when it is already lock) before trying to start the engine remotely, it would work.

Any help / advice?

Ok i did some reading from you said and found out that just change the rubber insert.
Any recommendation which brand to get? Bosch has the insert?
