Just sharing..
Today i face my HU hang until i off engine..
Just notice it hang during i use left signal n on the lane watch.. unable to control the radio, volume or off.. reverse camera also unable to use..

After i off engine and let it stays for a while, than restart engine n now OK..

Anyone face same symptom either pre fl or fl unit?
Mine is FL..

Just worry its a sign of something else 😅😅

So far mine still okay with the lowest secs , I assume 0. Did you install any 3rd party software on the HU. I heard the hack can hang the HU for sure.

Set the lane watch camera to 3 sec during turn signal left.
0 sec is a bad idea.

just my opinion smile.gif Since i use Google map on Carplay , 3 secs is abit too long and it was blocking my map. In a Roundabout way, I needed the Lanewatch to be quicker. Maybe i should memorize the driveway more haha

You will get use to it.

On the other point, I use the quick indicator flasher allot. imagine the HU keep switching lane watch camera to HU display instantly in split seconds repeating. Sure the HU will hang.

default is 0sec.
set to 3sec so that lane watch camera still active for 3 sec, after left signal disengaged. 3 sec gives the HU sometime to recover back after disengage left signal, rather than switching from lane watch camera to HU display instantly. Its like operating a low spec low ram smart phone. Too fast, too often device it will hung up.

No, i didnt experience HU hang before.
*
I will stick to current default setting for couple of days, see if it happen again than i change to 3sec 😃

oh ya the quick indicator .. now it make sense for it to hang.

talking bout quick indicator, not sure if is it possible to make it stay longer? i felt its abit too fast.
i felt its not long enough for other drivers to notice or realise you want to turn out.

Hi Sifu’s

I am still undecided between TC and TC-P, and I can’t decide between white and grey as well.

Can you please give a bit of pointers/comments on my concerns below?

1. I like the larger and darker rims but fear the harsher ride. Does the ride really become harsher?

2. Grey looks a bit understated (which I like, lower profile) and easy to maintain. White has better contrast with the dark rims and black grill but hard to maintain and looks a bit Lala-zai (no ill feelings to existing owners, i like this colour too)

3. Can each of the 8 features under Honda sensing be switched on/off individually?

4. The price difference between the 2 models is about RM 10k. How much would it cost for me to upgrade each of the following items after market?
a) Spoiler (this doesn’t do much for me)
b) black grill - I like
c) swapping the rims to original Honda 18” rims with tires
Actually just want to roughly see how much HM is charging for the Honda Sensing. That way, even if I don’t feel very in need of it I might still be able to convince myself to just take the top spec.

Many thanks!

1. Probably feel a bit less comfy but should be negligible aside from the more expensive replacements.
2. Silver or White would match well with the black grill and dark rims.
3. pre-FL owner here sorry
4. Black grill original is about RM650, the old 17" original rims is about 1k each, so expect the 18" to be similar or pricier.

Frankly, just go with TC-P.

for me, the additional 10k for sensing alone is already justified. a lot of hassle and costlier if you want to add this function in the future. plus the TC-P come with sportier rim and tyre, the tyre alone will cost around 2500 in the open market.

getting 18 inch rim without worry of voiding the warranty - priceless

p/s: im using pre-FL TC-P, if i dont have my car now, i will opt for FL TCP.

Hi all,

I am getting my car soon. I am looking at tinting 3M's crystaline series. Anyone here has any experience with it?

I know the tint affects Smart - Tag in a way but what about GPS signal? This is my main concern smile.gif
