Try updating all your apps and software. New phone sure apps got a lot of updates. Always keep updating and checking play store and galaxy apps.

Unless you're very extra careful person, feel free to use it naked.
If you're someone that heavily used your phone in various condition, sp/tg is a must. I also very extra careful person with my previous S7e but still cant avoid hairlines. Anyway, how careful person can be is subjective.

Another option if user took screen protection plus from SME,  maybe they can use it naked, smash the screen before the protection expired and claim new screen from Samsung.
*
I would strictly not recommend that. The odds of damaging your phone when you try to smash the screen IS VERY HIGH and you could end up with a broken phone instead.

You got a point too. Do it at own risk.
User can always minimize the damage by just targeting slight damage to screen. Maybe use it with protective case and slam it lightly for mininal damage. Not to say im gonna do this but im sure some will.

that will cost 100 to claim
maybe to some people, spend 100 to use the phone naked for 1 year is nice
to me, i will avoid as much as possible because you will not know that will the technician make mistake when replace the screen and spoil the ip68 or not

i am also extra careful person, my phone is still look 80-90% new after 5-6 years usage
but still can't avoid minor scratch that i don't want to see if i use it naked

Unless you are getting the gold, other colours would be easily available.

Just installed the original S8+ screen protector from Samsung onto my Note 8.

Really superb fit, though one must be really careful to align it properly.

Attached Image

It actually feels much smoother on the surface compared to Clear Coat (which I used for my S7 edge before) which is like 5 times the price.

Also, after reading recent reviews by some forumers here on the sensitivity issues with the RM200+ Hao glass screen protector, I was reluctant to get that too.

Thanks to all the earlier forumers who shared their experience here that lead me to get one myself. Cheers! thumbup.gif

With reduced user experience, I find TG or clear coat redundant. Reduced sensitivity, reduced smoothness. Sides peeling out making it look even uglier. I've spent on my s7e enough to teach me that.

I also spend 99% of the time looking/using a lit phone, and less than 1% of the time hunting for scratches. Scratches if any are barely visible to your own eye when LCD is lit, let alone a third person looking at it.

How do justify paying for something you do less than 1% of the time. Hunting for scratches is 100% unproductive.

And deliberately smashing your own phone even with insurance is purely unintelligent. I suppose this one needs no further elaboration.

I keen to get hao too. But seeing some of the complain, i'll drop it from my wishlist. Hard to see honest review nowadays. For the time being, gonna stick with cheap TG that i got from Ninjaz. Sensitivity not perfect but it doesnt feel as bad when i initially using it.
