I feel sorry for you dude. Most brands are offering post SST discounts or fixed price. Maybe Honda will be doing the same as well.

QUOTE(nordingh @ Sep 3 2018, 06:33 PM) Ic ic, thanks for the information. I'll start on my step project once I work up the courage to dismantle my plastic covers. Always get nightmares about the clip or plastic itself breaking whenever I hear the sound of the covers coming off |

QUOTE(NickedAsy @ Sep 3 2018, 03:06 PM) Thanks for the info bro and interesting idea to pull the wire across from below the backseat rather than needing to kopek all the plastic below the dash board. One man show sini a bit tiring. Maybe need 2-3 hours kot haha QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Sep 3 2018, 04:15 PM) Interesting idea crossing over from the rear instead the front. It would certainly make routing more straightforwards as its easier to remove rear seats than going into dashboard. But I do wonder how did the OEM do the routing for those cars with official install LED side steps. i felt that back is easier for me becoz i don need open another plastic near the left dashboard to hide it. don need to remove rear seat also because the wire is very thin only u simply push it below the seat then it hidden inside already.Perhaps those who ordered car with LED side steps can help share pics of where the cable is routing. so the wiring for me is like a U. Connect to below dashboard, pull wiring to the backseat, pull from right backseat to left backseat and finally last wire to left front. mine is oem exactly like the original but not sure how will the route the wiring. the only celaka thing is... after i done all this, the left front led was not working due to the connector pin terbalik. i almost had to take out the whole thing and return it to seller. lucky i figured it was only terbalik so i just pull out those pin at the connector and switch it myself. |
