Really no custom tax with borderlinx? Which shipper they use to send to Malaysia? If use DHL to send mobile phone, sure kena custom tax and SIRIM AP.

But this depend on cost of borderlinx , they will charge you include custom tax as well.

If custom tax is paid up front, then you have to apply SIRIM AP yourself when arrived Malaysia. I don't believe forwarder can help to do so. Or maybe I was wrong...

For newly launched phones, if the distributor/ manufacturer has not registered with Sirim, your parcel might get held up by Customs as it would need to go through Sirim certification. You will then need to pay a fee to Sirim to get it certified before the phone is released to you. It would be more advisable to wait for local sets.
