How is S8 battery life? Will it lag like other Samsung phones after long use?
*
One thing for sure, the op5 will pawn the S8 in battery life but maybe not with the s8+.

s8+ missing:
Smooth OS.
Dual Camera
Ram.
Slow Firmware upgrade.
Worst very fragile design.
OK SOT.

s8+ missing:
Smooth OS. - Agree
Dual Camera - Agree
Ram. - Agree
Slow Firmware upgrade. Ok but not that important
Worst very fragile design. - But it is far beautiful than OP 5 or OP 5+ with outstanding better 1440p+ resolution display.
OK SOT. - Not Agree, S8+ battery life is freaking awesome.

at it premium pricing but second lever of support, i can't brain, look like samsung is success following apple path ...

I don't switch off anything. I can anytime go for 6 to 7 hours SOT in my previous S8+, no issue for me.

Samsung the bad is it still cannot maintain the smoothness all time. Samsung change too many on it frameworks. Others than that Samsung phone is still pretty awesome for Android.

For price wise, OnePlus 5T is a great choice and this time it looks pretty as well.

Samsung does well on the hardware part. I always use custom ROM for smoothness (but lost warranty). Too bad that I don't like curved screen. So no Samsung flagship for me... Can Samsung bring back non-curved screen?

Sure have. Just go XDA and download. But too lazy to wait for 3rd party ROM nowadays. And looking for something like OxygenOS to try. OP5T might be my first OP phone. brows.gif

Try pitting the S8+ against the Op5 and you will see what is supposedly good battery life.

IMO, there should be a seperate discussion on the 5T as it is sort of a different phone with a additonal features like facial unlock.

op3 and op3T is in the same thread. Should be cool to be the same for op5 too. Goes along. Just the screen, face detection and one of the camera right. smile.gif
