Notice the OP5 by default (A5000) not enable the VoLTE.  have anyone tried to enable that and any different (DIGI)?

Type *#*#4636#*#* in phone keypad.

I did tried but no effect, digi still did not support VoLTE for this model. bruce.gif

Been waiting since Oneplus 3 till now. Only until digi updates it's carrier version for our phones to support support VoLTE only will we be able to use it. I have already complained to digi, maybe you guys should too.

For now, VoLTE is more of manufaturer's initiative to contact the telco of the country that they market their phone for compatibility testing.
Carrier version term is for iPhone, and Apple releases them, not telco.
*
I have brought up this issue by emailing and posting on the Oneplus' own forums and inform Digi since the OP3 until now, but still no action on both sides. Guess both of these companies are not interested.

I feel that OnePlus is too busy to care of a small Malaysia market. Same effort done in India, China, and US will give a greater impact of VoLTE compatibility (and then sales) instead of Malaysia with small population.

So far Huawei is doing a good job engaging with Telco for VoLTE.
*
True. Oneplus is still relatively not so well known among android users here in Malaysia and hence the low sales volume. Its only until Oneplus officially comes to Malaysia and markets their products here will they see an improvement on sales. Brightstar is just a distributor for many brands and I dont think they are doing good enough in promoting and marketing the brand.

oneplus 5 battery lasting already so well with just 3300mah.. if only it can come with 4000mah.. no match in the market..  tongue.gif
*
Unless you are willing to compromise on a thicker phone body. If not I rather keep the slim design on the current Op5.

now seems all the phone price up, OP5 no more rm1.8k, min 1.94k.... sigh....

do you guys think OP5T will be water and dust resistant?
*
No official release on the specs yet. Hopefully it will. And also, hopefully Oneplus will not be overly optimistic on the new pricing, ie pricing it way too high until the prices almost matches the other 'branded' flagships.

I experience the condition when the phone is being charged, running your hand on the smooth aluminum back, you can feel the phone vibrating. Did anyone experience that?
*
I felt that once too... once I used a borrowed cheapo charger. sweat.gif That is why I never used those kinda chargers again.

You better get it checked or try with a different charger. Your dash charger could be faulty.

A 1080p phone pit against 2k phones, I'm surprised OP5 didn't fare waay ahead of the competition. And the low resolution didn't even translate to better SoT compared to them 2k phones. sad.gif
*
In terms of battery life, the Op5 does win hands on compared to the other flagships like the S8/S8+ and Note 8. I did put up a review by a certain reviewer regarding to this on this thread as well as the note 8 thread.

have anyone experience the phone asking you to keyin pin instead fingerprint?

my phone is setup using fingerprint to unlock.  however, few times (random after several days) i press once on the fingerprint it doesn't unlock.  the screen: "Unlock for all features and data" msg display and usually this only appear if you rebooting your phone.  i suspect the phone did an auto reboot.

to confirm, theirs no Schedule power on/off setup, i'm using 6GB MY set, OS 4.5.13.  no new installation app, just regular update.
*
This is a feature of Android where if it runs into an unrecoverable error, it will auto restart itself. You should not be overly worried about it unless it happens very frequently.

My bro just got a op5. The camera is terrible. Video recording is bad. So damn shaky .

Pictures dont look sharp. Colours are off. What kinda phone is this?
*
If you want a point and shoot camera like the Iphone and the S8/Note 8 then you can forget about this phone.

Played with it for a while. The interface is snappy and smooth. Its a nice phone. Just the camera is a big let down.

The video output looks like some of the videos on youtube done by reviewers. Shaky and low light photos are bad.
*
Lets just put it as the camera department is not one of the strengths for this phone.
