if they called you for an interview that means they are interested to hire you, right? Or else, they wouldn't have called.

So, if you are interested to join them then go for the interview, you have nothing to lose. But if you don't want to join them then just don't go. Safe your time for something else.

What does an entry level network engineer do? I got called for the interview too.

QUOTE
Job Description :

    * You would be undergoing IMS (Infrastructure Management Solutions) training programs for 2 months with assessments and evaluation at the end of each phase.

    * You would be placed on projects after the trainings with Infrastructure Management Solutions/Network & Support Units or any other opportunity available at any locations globally.

What does IMS mean? It's not a call-center/helpdesk related job is it?

When they advertised on jobstreet, I think they stated that they have 20 vacancies for this position.

well, i got the same interview for entry level network engineer...

and im already working now with nice paycheque but i will still attend the interview

talking about satyam, i was the 2nd malaysian batch go tto Infosys (Satyam no 1 rival company @ India) at MySORE India for the fast track program. chatted with some local employee there at Infosys, the working culture at Infosys and Satyam is very much alike. Since a lot of ppl jump from Satyam to Infosys and vice versa if they got some internal problem such as probs witth HR, other employees and stuff coz Satyam and Infosys are the biggest IT company in India.

they do provide good training (really) both Satyam and Infosys. they working culture is exactly the same. so.. i would say they really press u when they want it to but it can be super relaxed when there's nuthing to do..

well to those who are going ...and from damansara area..maybe we can carpool and go there for the entry level NE position.

Is it possible to request for the interview to be held at another date? I can't go on that day because I am currently doing my internship. I've already taken many MCs.

Do you guys know how much (salary) they are offering for this job?

Added on August 23, 2008, 12:12 amThe job is being advertised again on jobstreet. Previously, it said 20 vacancies. Now, it has been reduced to 15. Guess they've already started hiring.

One of the requirements for the job is "Willingness to relocate to India". Are you guys (who got called for the interview) really willing to relocate to India?
