I have received supp card last week and statement date is 23rd of every month. Do I get statemnet for this month? If no statement this 23rd, no cash back o. Thank for your all experience
*
traditionally, they'll combine first 2 statements into 1.. so cash back will be in next month, but still capped at RM 50..

but there are some users who will contact CS, and have gotten additional cash back for the "1st month" bill..

Aiyor pening. Better go test small amounts at AEON Queensbay first to see if it falls under Departmental before spending big for CNY clothes lol.
*
My first choice for AEON will always be M2C AmEx. 5% CB + 5x TP will nett you 6.25% CB, higher than even PBB VS, without having to worry about grocery/departmental sections.

Shopping there on most weekends will give you another rm5 voucher for every RM 106 spent.

I keep my PBB VS mainly for dining merchants that don't accept AmEx, and to pay bills online.. smile.gif

you can't compare 5% + 5 X TP with 6%, TP is TP, not CB, they have mark up price to exchange for their products, you might get cheaper product elsewhere than from exchanging with the points.

With 6%, you just need RM833.25 to get the RM50 cap per month, while Maybank need to spend RM1000 in order to get RM50 cap per month.
If you said which card give you the most CB in Malaysia, i would say HLB Fortune with RM2400 per year, which means almost RM200 per month.
Don't forget this is the real cash which also provide you the FD interest if you didn't withdraw it or cover your credit card balance.
But this card is only 1% CB with cap RM50 per month but gives you RM2400++ per year vs RM600 mostly from every bank (of course we also got RM88 X 12 from MBBVS).
In conclusion, you can't compare % to %, you need to know which one provide you the best CB and benefit.

For me i spend with PBVS, PBQMC, PBQV, MBBVS, MBB2AM, MBB Ikhwan, HLB Fortune, CIMB CB and VS (both will cut soon due to CB TnC revised), Standard Chartered CB (for some promotion), UOB One (cutting soon after using more than 10 years), Citibank CB, Citibank PMVS (currently with 1% unlimited cap on foreign currency spending till 31 Dec 2017) + AEON Gold Visa + Ambank VI (still keep it although revised TnC) + HSBCVS (almost 6 cards with PPL free entries) for different benefits and purposes.

Just only for 2016 alone, i have get CB of RM3575.59 (almost RM2400 from HLB Fortune alone) from all this bank without calculating the TP and miles etc yet.
It's all depends on how you spend and how you manage to squeeze those benefits from different cards and turn them into discount or savings.

Updated: The total i have spend for 2016 is RM170,520,71, which means it is almost 2% CB for the entire year but what you can get from MBB FCB is only RM600 vs RM3575.59.
Most of the spending is from my company btw. i just buy hotel, air ticket and claim later tongue.gif
*
LOL. Unfortunately for me, I only have personal spending to spend on. only about 4k per month. 2 PBB VS sure maxed out. Rest will go to AmEx and SCB Gold. That's why I prefer to use AmEx over PBB VS, 1. limited merchants accept AmEx, and 2. It's always easier to max out PBB VS. just prepay some utility bills.

Grocery and Online just go Quantum Mastercard (additional RM30 5%).
*
QUOTE(PJusa @ Dec 14 2017, 12:53 PM)
That actually is a good idea. Why I didnt think of that is beyond me. Will do that right away.

Quantum MasterCard is only for Dining and Online, right?

Maybank FCB gives 2% so that's better than Alliance younique.

Just curious if I make 4x RM100 will I get RM20?
*
QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Dec 29 2017, 06:39 PM)
Either RM10 or RM50 per week.
*
I think janson is right.

It says "every 2 x rm100" will get rm 10 CB.. and t&cs at the bottom says max cash back per person is RM 50 weekly.. not max 1 Cash back per week?

oh confirm 1 X RM1500 + 1 X RM100 got RM50 cb?
what if i register both VS and QMC and use PBVS with 1 X RM1500 + 1 X RM100 while QMC with 6 X RM100, can i get RM50 + RM30 or does it only pay out max RM50 per IC or per cc?
*
I think 1 x RM 1500 + 1 x RM 100 will net you RM 10 of CB only? it doesn't fulfill the 2 x RM 500 to get the CB..

Note: "Spend a minimum of RM 100 / RM 500 in a single receipt for each swipe.

is there a difference on how both of you purchase using FavePay ?
*
It was my first time using FavePay, so I had to set up my credit card. Not sure if that's the difference.

How about Watson Online?  Anyone tried to buy from the online website and get 5% CB from Quantum Mastercard?
Also, The CB of Quantum cards,  cut-off time is by Calendar month or Statement date month?
*
Regarding Watson online, so far no-one reported yet. But, based on PBB's Online criteria, any payment through an online portal (utility bill, income tax payment) also will get CB.. so Watson Online should be quite safe.. Maybe you can try and feedback?

I only own VS so far.. but based on what I've read in this forum, VS & Quantum CB works the same.. they're by statement date month, and CB is rewarded on statement date, so it'll directly reduce your current month statement..

emailed supp form on 1/1/18, got card in the mail today. Surprisingly efficient this round.

*mental note to myself and everyone : CB will not be awarded for the first month. For eg: Statement date 1st Feb, dont bother rushing for the RM38 CB for Jan month cos you wont get it. Start using in Feb. I sudah kena last time *
*
I remember reading on this forum that there were people who contacted CS and managed to get the cash back for the 1st (partial) month as well..

I think SMS are sent for CNP (Card Not Present) transactions?

I.e. if you enter the PIN, it assumes that you entered the PIN yourself. Whereas for Grab, there's no longer any OTP entered, so that's why they sent it to you.

either login to supp's PBe or wait for eStatement which is also sent to supp's email.

unfortunately, the eStatement is linked to PBe though; you cannot change the email address it either.
*
My supp doesn't have PBe access, but the statement is sent to my email.. Couldn't remember how I did it, but I think we got the email address changed via a phone call to the CS..

How to use the Samsung pay? Only can use on Samsung device?
And most of merchant can accept now?
*
Only can use on the Samsung Note series (5 onwards), S series (6 onwards and A series (5 onwards). More convenient than using physical cards if you ask me.. easier to pull out phone than physical card.

Bigger chains like tesco, AEON, giant, McD no problem.. some petrol stations also accept spay.. can find out more from here and here
