As mentioned by yourself, EACH supp card with separate statement will get its own RM50 cashback.

Shhh, don't tell PB.
*
Now RM38/RM30 only.
It is not a secret, PB card centre allow this all the while until they revise their cashback/statement date.

I really envy those country with excellent credit cards benefits. Ours getting cut year by year...

I just spent 1k on the PBB VS without knowing the rebate got cut down to RM 38, just darn it.
*
More cut expected in 2020-2021 when the interchange fee reduced from 1.1% to less than 0.5%.

When I meant lower the %, I don’t mean lower it down until 1-2%. I’d still be ok with them dropping to 4% but maintaining RM50 cap.
My main card is still MBB AMEX for the 5x points and 5% CB weekend, so I wouldn’t want too many cards. I’ve been maximising my CB on 3 cards for the past months capping at RM150, so now it’ll be down to RM138..

Re-arrange spending using Maybank FCB VS (RM50/RM100), PB Quantum (RM30/RM60), UOB Yolo (RM50), CIMB-Lazada (RM25)!

No pain no gain. tongue.gif
Bring your income documents to the branch and the officer will fill in for you (they have monthly target to meet), but you still need to use your hand to sign the form!

Hi, meaning that for Local Water Board like Sibu Water Board and SESCO, all can get cash back if using Sarawak Pay Apps?

Mine one is Quantum Master Card, should be able to get 5% cash back too?

Thanks smile.gif
*
You get online rebate to top up Sarawak Pay e-wallet (max RM3000). You will then use the credit to pay the bills. The app is just 2 months old, so the payee list is still quite limited.
For Sesco, you can use SEBCares (any amount >RM1, advance payment is allowed), paybillsmalaysia (statement balance) to get online rebate.

Oh, for top up can get 5% Cash Back if I'm using Quantum Master card...

Regarding the Paybillsmalaysia, I think this is not eligible to get 5% Cash Back using Quantum Master Card due to it will track as utility bills? Have you try it?

iinm, I've tried before but no cb given, not sure for the SEBCares... hmm.gif
*
Paybillsmalaysia and SEBCares - yes for normal online rebate (6% for VS), but not qualify for Special cashback games (eg every 2X) as Government-related / utilities transactions (and I believe Sarawak Pay is also same, as it is under PaymentGalaxy/Paybillsmalaysia by SAINS).

u renew via motor insurance at takaful malaysia onlne will get cash back pb cc vs , online get 6% cb and get 15% cb on no claim total 21% cash back .

-15% discount, then 6% rebate, the final saving is 20.1%, not 21%.
Using Etiqa Takaful (Motortakaful), you get 10% discount, 1-2years later you will get a surplus refund (subject to performance of Etiqa Takaful).

Other than the bank charge,
+1% more or less charged by Visa / Mastercard International.
So total +2.0% to +2.5% for foreign transactions.

QUOTE(kart @ Jan 20 2018, 10:38 AM)
As of now, I have Public Bank Quantum MasterCard and Visa Credit Card, with the credit limit of RM 16000.

If I correctly remember, the minimum credit limit of Public Bank Visa Signature Card is RM 35000.

As suggested here, one way to get Public Bank Visa Signature Card is apply for lower level credit cards (such as Quantum Cards), and slowly increase your credit limit till RM 35000 (with your payslips showing increased salary), and request to add a Public Bank Visa Signature Card.

Here is my dilemma. The maximum spending amount for me is RM 1200 per month (RM 600 for Quantum MasterCard; another RM 600 for Quantum Visa), just to get the maximum cashback of RM 30 for each card.

So, after I get salary increase and submit the payslips, how can I convince Public Bank Credit Card Department to increase my credit limit to RM 35000? After all, I never spend beyond RM 1200, let alone RM 16000 of credit limit originally assigned to me.

I know that Public Bank currently has 0 % balance transfer, and 0 % FlexiPay. But, I prefer not to use balance transfer and FlexiPay, as they may lure me to uncontrolled spending beyond my financial ability.

Thank you very much for your kind suggestions.  thumbup.gif

Be patient, you can e-file your tax return very soon (about 40 days from now), send your latest tax return (e-BE 2017, declared income >RM100k) to PB Card Centre. Pledging FD does not guarantee you will get a VS.

Anyone tried with rental income? I declare my rental income to LHDN.

Am holding Quantum already and a few Ks short of VS requirement and pretty desperate to have another online card since CIMB CB revoke their benefit.

I tried for Citi PremierMiles which is also 100k pa (used salary + rental income) but was rejected. sweat.gif

You can over declare your income in the next return, if you want.
I believe PB will revise the income requirements for premium cards (VI, VS, WM) soon, as other card issuers are doing it.

Most of local banks had slashed their Income requirements recently. I don't feel the VS is a premium card anymore!
Maybank VS: RM48k/RM70k
CIMB VS: RM60k
RHB VS: RM80k
Ambank: RM80k

Do you think that I can increase my credit limit to RM 35000, even though I never spend more than RM 1200 per month? This is assuming that my salary has increased to RM 9k per month.
*
Credit limit is not a requirement.
Obviously annual income of RM100k is the most basic requirement, so the best evidence is the tax return.
Of course it is up to the bank to decide to approve or reject.
For new applicants, go to the branch to apply, the branch manager and the officers are having monthly targets to meet, sometime they may write a recommendation to their card centre.
PB was not really aggressive to market credit cards till recently.
