Just to inform here as some use shopee for fulfilling the soon-to-end quota purposes, shopee has been banning TNB and other bill payments. I asked them why, this is CS answer:-

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Dec 26 2017, 04:08 PM) even if you have wrote wrongly RM2,822 rather than RM2.822mil cash back based on 8.95% of retail which translate to RM31530.73 over the whole year, after deduction of RM50 max CB per month, where did the extra RM185.17 came from? Even if you have fully utilised Quantum Visa and MC max CB of RM60 and RM50 CB campaign swipe of RM50 for 8 x RM50 or more, where the hell of RM75.17 came from??? Some months not maxed out cashback, quite easy to have non-round numbers no? |

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Dec 27 2017, 10:04 AM) % cashback is a bit misleading as transactions from supplementary cards are excluded in the year end summary but they also contributed to the special cashbacks (8X/10X). Very misleading I think. Mine is 15609.6 spending and 2279.63 cashback. 14.6%Too lazy to check back my records, but effectively about 200 ringgit cash back a month, which makes sense given I tend to get most of the weeks campaign cashback. Of course using supp spend (not listed here). |

QUOTE(paogeh @ Dec 27 2017, 02:42 PM) Want to ask, i found this in my December crredit card statement, RM68 for RM100 spend (and you'll still get your 6% or whatever cashback) is good. Any charges to cancel the AFT though? I don't use PBB as my main bank so every month sure not enough funds there to pay.... once get cashback I'd like to just cancel service.which is doing AFT , and get RM68. I pay them all on time, is it worth to signup ? https://www.pbebank.com/Personal-Banking/Pr...r-Automati.aspx Was wondering whether my supps apply for this (using their own PBB account) and also get the promo RM68? Called PBB and the customer service agent checked, she said:- 1. Only separate statement can 2. Must apply from their own PBB savings account (i.e. if they don't have then by default cannot). QUOTE(christcwl9 @ Dec 27 2017, 04:49 PM) Yup i am thinking the same. I am afraid once you signed up, you might have to tied to this AFT for maybe 1 year before you are able to cancel the service? :hmn: Well I will sign up to pay minimum =p.And they do have a clause where 2 months consecutive fail payment will auto-terminate, and does not specify a penalty.... |

QUOTE(buzzlim @ Jan 8 2018, 09:59 PM) Happy New Year! No, balance transfer is only to your own card.Need some advise. Can my wife apply for a PB credit card and do a balance transfer from my Citi card? She is my supplementary. If yes, which credit card? Thank you. She MAY be able to balance transfer to her supp card and then call the bank to transfer from that to your primary. Untested. |

QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Jan 10 2018, 10:14 AM) Wtf just found out. That is damn disappointing when the CB benefit for a VS is now worse than Quantim combo... Doesn't make sense. I think most will prefer current way of maintaining the %.I rather they reduce the CB % but maintain the cap at RM50.. Cashback % is always the most important thing, since if cap is lowered you can just shift spending (e.g. to Quantum) but if % is lowered you're actually getting less for same spend. Unless you're the sort always hit cap.... in that case you should still prefer % since you can apply many different card to maximize |

QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Jan 10 2018, 12:44 PM) When I meant lower the %, I don’t mean lower it down until 1-2%. I’d still be ok with them dropping to 4% but maintaining RM50 cap. You can maintain at RM150 or more by shifting spending to another card. Once drop to 4% then VS becomes much worse. Cashback % is what matters, otherwise why not just go for SCB RM100 cap cashback? My main card is still MBB AMEX for the 5x points and 5% CB weekend, so I wouldn’t want too many cards. I’ve been maximising my CB on 3 cards for the past months capping at RM150, so now it’ll be down to RM138.. |

QUOTE(drbone @ Jan 10 2018, 02:20 PM) Im waiting in line to sign up for this now, and the pbb fella at the number counter actually discourage me from signing up for it, saying "you know there's stamp fee?" And "normally we ask customers... Do you have an online banking account?"He didn't seem aware on promo. Oh well. The thing I hate about Pbb is lines always so long. |

QUOTE(donhue @ Jan 11 2018, 11:07 PM) this was mentioned back in v3 of this thread.. forumer said that it happened a year ago, so he got it back in 2015.. maybe process change already.. Source QUOTE(siawyent @ Jan 12 2018, 09:43 AM) You mean first month usage not entitled to CB? How about new card? I just got my card approved, waiting for arrival of card, so just activate but don't use it for first month? My two supps managed to appeal and get the first month amount (my parents). This was around end 2016/start 2017. |

Just got the PB balance transfer offer (free gift if apply for 36-month 8% p.a). The advert states RM100 early settlement fee, does that mean I can apply, get the gift, then do early settlement to avoid paying interest? Effectively can buy the TV for RM100++?
