yes I did that
I got plastic carpet on top of the stock mat.similar to this. can get em from aliexpress. and I bough two sets in case of emergency. another set put in bonnet lah.

and I use this to clean em up

I make a habit every time customer alight from the cars , I will look at the rear passenger side, see if customer forgot anything and see if got any small stones, etc. if yes, just park anywhere in a safe place, press hazard light and clean it. even during on the way to pick up another customer. take around 1-2 minutes only lah.
so far I got 0 complaints on cleanliness ( based on the weekly report sent by Grab )
