So long ago ... hard to check against my fuel transactions.

Applied for maybank 2 gold but got an sms syaing "RM0.00 Maybankard:We regret to inform that we are unable to accede to your card application. Thank you for your interest shown." ..

Called up customer service, they didnt say why got rejected. My CCRIS is clear.. Paid off my PTPTN loan (lump sum) back in August..

Only yesterday I checked celcom blacklisted me due to broadband, back in 2009, which my friend used it under my name during my study, so just cleared the debt too (rm350) today.. So I wonder if my application was rejected due to that?

Not sure if it's affected but somehow recently even telco blacklist also affects credit cards applications.

Anyway, online application for Maybank does have high tendency for rejection. You can apply via Card Centres or email.

I applied via card centre (gardens) on sunday last week with my wife. Her application is successful, and today went to the card center to collect her card. Asked the guy over the counter and he said he cant check why, but it was stated unsuccessful.

So, got sms, checked with customer service, checked with card centre over the counter, still donno why.. They dont want to do business meh? Haihh...

So what now? Wait till 6 months later then only reapply?

Anyway, already emailed mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my for clarification.

Every bank has its own way of assessment, so what you can do now is basically to appeal. Banks will not share rejection reason most of the time.

Yes, if appeal still fails, suggest you to apply after 6 months.

If I accidently paid my full sum of cc outstanding balance via m2u app instead of the amount I intend to pay, can I request to cancel it?

Coz I only paid for visa, and accidently paid in full. Take cukup duit to pay for amex. If I remember correctly, have to pay each account separately right? What can I do about this? Can I ask cc centre to reassign half of the portion to amex account?

can you just call CS and ask whether it's possible? if ok to do so, then do it immediately over the phone la.

Just dont understand why on earth Haggen-Dazs 1u dont accept Amex card to make payment. Dont they are Premium ice-cream? I remember 1 famous blogger mentioned b4 that is a so call premium shop that dont accept Amex... how premium can it be???

if u start ranting about haagen-dazs vs amex, you'll be very busy ranting since there are many merchants not accepting amex

But most places I go to accepts AMEX
