Yea I did it twice since iOS 11.03 to 11.1 to 11.1.1...it’s so bad that reading and typing this reply took 2% lol? Heartache to see how fast it drain, don’t even bother checking the phone often nowadays coz batt drop every single thing I did ie login fb 1%, switch to insta another 1%, switch to WhatsApp reply few messages 1%...worse is every night when I go to bed at 100%, next morning I’ll see 75-80%...been like that for the last 8 days...

I find this to be very strange. I've got background app refresh turned off as well, and usually when I go to sleep at 11pm or so (after charging the phone to 100%) it still shows 100% when I wake up at 6am. In fact, it's still 100% now at 8.04am.

my friend's ipong6 battery drain faster after he update to 11.2 and telling me not to update yet.

Hmmm, sorry to hear that. It can go 3 ways, remain the same or get better or get worse.

and another thing also came out where my wife's ipong acting weird such as shutting down by itself, screen freeze, touchscreen malfunction and also the battery draining problem... she finally decided to become samseng.

Wow, didn't know that updating the IOS can "kill" an iphone.
No wonder some iphone owners keep using the IOS that came with the iphone.

yes some of my friend with ip7+/ip8+/ipX also don't get this problem, but there're also many who get this, so I'd say its luck game, either nothing or big thing...

yeap literally killed the iphone, if i can stick with 10.2 i'll not upgrade, but my apple watch insisted ios11 to be paired..

Well, one last resort you can try is to backup, wipe it clean then restore again and see if it solves the problem.

The peeps at Apple have definitely made some significant improvements on the battery performance. Based from my experience, the improvements are consistent throughout the iPhone models. I'm not sure about the iPad though, primarily because I don't own one

just updated to ios11.1.2, feel that the batt life is slightly better compare to ios10.3.

Last time i fully charged at 100%, but woke up in the morning at 91%.
But last night nope...still 100% all the way to morning.

And one more thing, i feel that the response is awfully fast. it is like they cut short the fading(animation) time.

After update ios 11.1.2 notice battery drain fast.

Can remain. The 11.1.2 doesn’t do anything for the 8 Plus.
