This is the worst iOS rollout.. so buggy and its on 0.3!
All the iPhones are solid but pointless with this kind of SW.
I'm using SE which was a beast on iOS 10 now on 11 total lung collapse.

Inexcusable for a company that has a mantra on how important good SW is. Imagine this bugs still around when the X launches. probably will release the 11.1 then.

Many people experience issues with WhatsApp notifications since the iOS 11 update.

IPhone users don’t get notifications for new posts or receive the notifications only after opening WhatsApp.

Although the problem is happening with WhatsApp, it’s likely an issue with iOS or Apple’s Push Notification Service (APNS). Notifications are sent to your phone from Apple’s Push Notification Service (APNS) and the delivery is entirely in control of that service.

After some contacts with WhatsApp we can report the following:

It’s indeed an iOS 11 bug. It is affecting users who habitually force close their app. This behavior is fairly common among users because of the misconception that apps that appear in the multitasking screen are running in the background. The bug and issues are reported to Apple.

In the meantime WhatsApp is working on an own workaround. They think they have figured out a workaround and are testing it right now. If the test is successful, WhatsApp will release an update to the App Store in a few days.

WhatsApp advises that if you stop force closing the app, your issue shoud also be resolved. Rumours that WhatsApp update 2.17.61 contains the bugfix are not true.

WhatsApp notification issue supposedly fixed in yesterday’s update.

Appears to be resolved. Need to monitor further.

Backup, reset all, restored. Now i have around 6.5gb left compared to before, less than 1gb. The clutter is really something that you can only rid of using the reset function.

iOS 11.1 GM is out. If we don’t have patience to wait for the public release, we can download the public beta profile and update. It has new emojis.

Does ios 11 problems affect iphone 8 and 8+ too?

It's actually last beta (beta 4) before the GM. The GM release might be different from beta 4.

Agreed. This is the worst IOS version ever since i use 3Gs
Now i had so many issues with my SE. Not only battery!

- home screen cannot swipe right to Camera
- sms didn’t receive quite frequent
- random position of screen keyboard suddenly in the middle of screen
- data speed suddenly drop and get disconnected. And then reconnected again.

What the heck with all these rubbish IOS??

I got the camera swipe problem and random vibration (but no notification appear, had to search apps by apps to check I received message from which apps).
And I'm using i7 still.

6s plus..i had to say that ios11 is the worst update so far.. very buggy

Random freezes that i cant even turn off the iphone
App icons not appearing
Keyboard freeze
Battery drain

Now only I realised.
Ios 11.0.3 cannot retrieve my online banking TAC SMS notifications. Initially I thought only MBB2U is down. But tried CIMBCLICK and AMBANK ONLINE give me the same result.

Confirmed its IOS 11.0.3
Anyone having same problem as mine?

Have you try OFF and ON your iPhone after IOS update?

I'm on 11.0.3 and MB2U Tac ok, no delays whatsoever, like normal.

Anybody tried the calculator app where u press 1+2+3+4+5, the ans is wrong? I wonder is all affected?
