No issue on 8 plus. What is the so called significant drain? Did you check is it a rogue app? What is zapping your batt most?

Out of curiosity, are you guys running these new iOS beta releases on your main/primary phone or just on a secondary phone? Seems a bit risky if it’s the former laugh.gif

I usually load beta 4 on my old ip6 first. Play for a week or two then update beta 5 on my ip8 and ipx. Things usually work well by the 5th beta wink.gif

I'm using it on my primary device. Nothing much to worry as worse come to worse just need to format back.

I don't have fast battery drain problem with Iphone 5S but I do have fast battery drain problem on Iphone 6 eventhough I've replaced the battery 2 weeks ago for both Iphones. I got the Iphone 6 from my sibling late last years and he didn't use it for more than 1 years after he received a new Samsung phone from company.

Now Iphone 5S battery can last 1 days and Iphone 6 only 7 hours -9 hours. The battery charging is fast but battery drain rate also fast. sad.gif

My guess is one more beta then will be the GM seed.

Have been running the betas and feel not much excitement. Maybe iOS 12 will bring some new anticipation but judging from the news don’t expect much in terms of big changes in the new IOS.

Bring in stability & better battery management will do, IMO. Otherwise iOS is pretty good as it is.

for me what i want the most changes in iOS 12 is can change settings is camera instead of going all the way to settings app.
