what you mean not much? is worth to sign up plan with telco nowadays, termination will only calculate base on remaining months on your contract + RM100 admin fees for most telco

anyhow after few months with contract, u lose nothing...

means telco subsidy is not much perhaps hundred bucks?? unless sign up for higher plan which is some people might not need unless their company subsidy phone monthly. from what i observe, usually the phone plan is less attractive compare to normal plan. some telco fix to 24 months contract. also why need to pay for termination? unless one plan to change new phone every year that's just my point of view.. doesn't means others think the same way

but the subsidize is simple

if someone on digi plan all the while pay around 75 a month without contract, he could just sign up a RM78 plan, he may get an iPhone 8 cheaper by 1000

for 24 months contract, his phone cheaper by 1000
if he use 12 months, then terminate, he will pay 1000/24*12 + 100, which is 600

1000 - 600 = 400 (he still earn 400), his original plan and new contract plan more or less the same

i agree some phone bundle mobile plan is not attractive like normal plan, but if one person is using a plan which is more or less equivalent to phone bundle plan, no harm sign up plan with phone, even though he/she may not using the plan, can sell to others

there are a lots ppl using Maxis One Plan 128 or above without contract... thus, sign up a contract may let them get a free phone (cheaper phone) or subsidize on more expensive phone, which in return not really that bad, even though terminate half way

also applicable to other telco, almost same structure for phone bundle plan

yeah i do agree if the bundle phone plan more or less the same as normal plan, no harm signing up. not everyone can afford mop 128 eh

just that i guess iphone x bundle plan will not be that attractive though ahahah.. cause the rrp already cost 5.1k.. don't think can get below 4k even after subsidy.. perhaps i should pray harder telco can make it hahaha
