Same problem with me using the hypptv huawei box. But no problem watching aotg on my oneplus 5t. Both using aotg 8.2.1 version

That's because one is officially supported and the other isn't.

Oh thanks for the answer. Is the minix & mi box officially supported or not? Thinking to upgrade to mi box international version hopefully can cut down the lag in aotg

Officially? None of the "TV boxes" are officially supported. The app was meant for legit phones and tablets and not boxes masking as phones.. So the app doesn't work on all but a select few. Minix being one of them. Skip the Mibox. Visit the Android TV boxes thread for more info.

Why am I getting logged out of the AOTG on my huawei hypptv? When I tried to log in, it said "fail: bad_response" .. Can view on my phone.. Hmmmm.. Any idea?

As repeatedly shared.. It could be a variety of reasons.. The app or the device or connection or even Astro servers.. So rule out what you can and see how. Thing is, as long as the app isn't run on officially supported hardware, you'll be bound to occasionally run into issues.

Hyppbox is a low end box.

Astro has ways to stop devices with incompatible firmware from using it.

Get a better box or androidtv... astrogo works fine, little trouble.

Aww demmitt lol.. Donno if I want to buy new android box just for AOTG purpose.. Seldom watch tv.. Using youtube app on the hypptv only for my son's children song lol..

No choice.. Alternatively, you can always connect your phone to the TV..

astrogo is a handy app if u hv id/pw - for chinese and sports channels at least - in hd.

besides buying a box for that, u can consider, at next tv purchase, get a sony or a sharp with androidtv - these tv's can take astrogo, work good too.

Me also kena. Seems like astro is is saying if u want to enjoy our product, dont use our rival's (TM ) equipment lor

ya la.. so sad haihhh... not worth to get a new android box or androidtv when i seldom watch.. hahahaha..hopefully youtube can still work..

Aotg is working again in the hypptv box

I may have found the solution to above issue.

Had the same problem when i first install aotg and run it first time.

After i log in to google playstore with an email account, the message no more appear in aotg.... try it n see if it solves your problem

its in LG Store. it'll automatically installed

mine's not installed probably because it's the older version (got it 2-3years ago). also i cant find at the store..probably because of the OS version?
