If your looking for budget 65 inch tv go for samsung, the mu6100....if you dig deep enough it is possible to get it for sub rm4k mark....the picture quality is good, va panel so the the black level is good...the input lag is very low, good for gaming, tizen smart tv system is fine,
Just 1 flaw, the viewing angle is terrible tho...u need to watch the it exactly infront of it due to the sweet spot is quite small....then again its a bloody big tv why you want to watch it off ange anyway..

Guys anybody here got the x7500h....i was wondering since this year sony generous enough to give us the VA panel instead of ips on their budget tv the x7500h...i was hoping aits a decent enought VA panel....i personally try to avoud ips due to its black level weekness...i dont really care much about the wide angle view...as long as its not too narrow like samsung panel im okay.... actually i can afforfthe x90h but...i dont play games..i think i dont need those 120hz...somore at most i gonna set the motion picture to "standard" setting which i think not gonna trigger the 120hz speed....so i was thinking maybe i can save alot of money by opting to x7500h instead since its sony VA panel ,and with their X1 processor...the hdr performance also not that bad....its just a notch below x80...what do guys think...the VA panel really temp me alot to the x7500h..

That means x75 sort of a better TV than x80.. isn't it. cheaper as well

In a way kinda...If you like me and really fancy VA panel over ips

That is why i ask if anybody here with x7500h care to comment how it perform...on spec sheet its kinda impressive but in realife i think we need to go to sony centre to compare side by side...in this pandemic time...i kinda scare to go to mall...

I can easily differentiate between IPS and VA...i prefer VA over IPS because i dont watch my tv off angle for once...most of the time ppl will sit directly infront of the tv to enjoy the best experience...thus make the off angle advantage of IPS less important features, Next ofcuz the black level, for me the black level is important because when you got a better black color, naturally the other colors gonna pops up even more. Its hard to explain but with an IPS panel i always have a feeling theres a greyish tint or filter covering the whole screen....nmand yes its very obvious in a dark room...to make matters worst i got x80g and w800c in my house at the moment... straight away i can feel the feel my old w800c VA panel produce a better color compare to a modern IPS x80g modern tv...

VA is suitable for dark room
IPS is suitable for bright room

X80 is definitely better with X1 HDR if compare to X70 X1.
Better in picture details. Even the menu is different.
If got budget, get the x90 with local dimming VA panel.
Go to Sony center at IPC or klcc to see for yourself compare side by side with same video.

2020 Sony TV gets really bright compare to 2019 and the android Mediatek processor is 3x faster than 2019 models.

My suggestion is not to buy the cheapest model of TV offered, with x70h compare to x80h somehow you will lose some features like
simpler menu
Dolby vision & Atmos
Apply airplay & homekit
3 to 4 hdmi ports

Can you explain futher whats the difference you see between x80h vs x7500h, the difference between x1hdr vs x1 4k,....because i come from x80g which was IPS and i dont like it...i justlove the black level of the VA panel....yes i can afford x90h but...i just wondering if i can save a few "thousand" if i just opt for x7500h instead of x90h...the difference of price between x7500h to x90h is huge....so is the x7500h really that bad..? In What sense actually bad...the HDR performance maybe..? From what i read online...it still do have a wide colour gamut "triluminos" just it lack abit in brightness performance....its not far way from my prev x80g tho...

Bro,

You really need to go and see the real thing la. Ask them to play the same video and make a few pause.

Some examples like in black crush scene, you still can see details rather than wash out. Object around the screen looks more 3d than just flat.

Yesterday i come down to seng heng to take a look on both.....comparing the both side by side, the x80h is obviously brighter, so i guess they improve the HDR performance from lastyear x80g for sure...the x75h on the other hand for me abit dim, and the detail also abit crush...if compare the jumanji video side by side...yet the x75h do have better deeper black tho as expected of VA panel....overall ofcuz the x80h is a better tv... especially for those who really want HDR support, because its alot brighter, 500 nits compare to 390 last time according to rting.com...

As for me i need to made up my mind to spenc 3.5k or tupop almost hafl that to afford the end game x90h....

I guess you have alot a point to deduct to get such price.....i might settle for x75h...arh i dont know...i know tht the x80h is good but i just hate IPS...hhh....the brightness upgrade is good tho...now i can watch proper hdr with 500 nits peak brightness.....x80h might be the best 60hz ips tv inthe market...

I got 1 important question to ask tv sifu here....is most of the time i disable motionflow on my sony which was motion smoothess option of other tv...to kill the SOE....does the 120hz panel gonna give me any advantage at all in this kind of situation.....

Because i assume...the 120hz panel is to make the image smoother, yes it may produce a better motion at the time you gonna get the SOE also...which i dont qiite fancy.....so if i choose to settle with 60hz panel, im gonna be okay right, since im gonna disable it anyway...

Sifu? Thanks in advance..

So back to the discussion about price. The cheapest I can find for a 65X9000H in Kuching is RM5568 while the 55X9000H is RM3568.

Is the RM2K price difference worth it?
*
Very good price edy...wish i was there for the price...

Btw i asking myself the same question the difference is rm2k...and the answer is if you got the space and the budget i say why not...i might settle for 55 due to my living room is quite narrow about 9 feet, so 65 kinda too much...but if i got the space i dont mind that 2k different, its a tv afterall at least im gonna have it for at least 6 or 7 year or maybe evrn more...

For those who are on budget, i think u guys should go for x7500h, the price is quite good, and the performance is stellar also....even the x8000h also not bad....if you dont care much about hdr the x7500h is good enough, the only downside its just the 60hz panel but then ofcuz its not that bad...i hunting for a x7500h 65inch for below rm3k this coming 12.12....

We are on the same boat ! Last month SenHeng was doing promo during 11.11 65x7500h for rm2950. Hopefully they will continue the promo again. Lets update each other if we find anything this week.
*
Hopefully sengheng got similar offer this time...im considering between x8000h or the x7500h for my living room setup...the x8000h ips but better hdr performance the x7500h va better black level but not very good interm of brightness...ofcuz the x9000h is alot better but u gonna have to topup another half rm3k...thats alot...or maybe u can settle with smaller x9000h which around RM3.5k...

The x8000h do have a better colour and brightness....the problem is when you put it sode by side with va u can clearly see the different in dark color...if normal use, unless your living room is really dark and like theater dark, the ips on x80h is fine. X80h have upgrade alot interm of the birghtness compare to last year model....last year x80g its around 300 while x80h this year around 500 nits, so you should the notice the improvements especially on HDR scene....i saw online today for rm3.7k we can get 65 x80h edy....if on 12.12 can get cheaper say 3.5k i might sway to x80h instead...

Somore when we are talking about 65 inch tv...it is quite big tv....so the off angle performance should come into consideration because, since the screen is quite big when you seat at the centre of the screen, u might notice on the far left and right of the screen has become dimmer or the colour is abit off with VA panel tv, ur not gonna have this issue with smaller size screen since the screen surface is quite small so every edge of the screen is still within the sweet spot...while its not the same story with larger panel....so for 65 inch size and above....ips like the x8000h might have advantage here....and now if i can get the price like above around rm3.3k on 12.12, i might settle for 65 x8000h or 55 x9000h... decision decision...seems like x7500h is out of my shortlist now...

I got RM3690.00, but unfortunately not ready stock need to wait for awhile...i didnt get the extended warranty either....i bet on the 2years sony warranty is enough...unless if its rm6k or above its better to ge extended warranty but since i wanted to get the best and cheapest possible deal, hope this decision ive made dont bite my ass in the future......the extended warranty its quite expensive i can get a redmi phone brand new for the warranty price alone....i do encourage everybody else to take it if they investing in more expensive tv tho...
