QUOTE(SiriuslyCold @ Jun 11 2007, 12:49 PM) "*7.1 Multichannel Inputs for PCM Delivery of Hi-Def Audio Sources" huh? I think it means it accepts up to 7.1 analog connection of HD audio decoded and converted from the player rather than sending the digital signals through HDMI.

QUOTE(g5sim @ Jun 11 2007, 11:24 AM) but but we do have PS3 or XBox 360 owners with HD DVD add on who are willing to buy those disks though Well, PS3 is just an average blu-ray player according to What Hi-Fi UK, it suffers from motion judder. As for XBOX 360, it doesn't output uncompressed audio signals via HDMI. So both are flawed but can be used to watch these next-gen discs but honestly, if you didn't know, PS3 and XBOX 360 consumes more power than your big LCD tv, these consoles use 200 watts - 250 watts when in operation. Not a good ideal in my opinion.

QUOTE(g5sim @ Jun 12 2007, 12:29 PM) me too . . no idea. i am a PC gameboi Only Nintendo Wii runs less than 40 watts in operation but it can't even play normal dvds out of the box. Most amps, displays and other Hi-Fi components are power hungry these days.
