this is what the HD DVD and Blu-ray Disk boys are waiting for actually. YOu want to pair it with your BD player/PS3 izit. Imagine the lossless sound through HDMI connected to this baby. x the MRSP $500 to foreign exchange rate RM3.7 = RM1850 ..... cheaper than PS3 itself tongue.gif tongue.gif .. with HD A2 selling at $320 .. HT never been this "affordable" rclxms.gif

I guess that's the entry level model as it didn't mention much on the DAC used for the conversion. Of course, for the price, who will complain. Hopefully, the higher end models are below RM4K nod.gif

If its below RM2,500, I will be very interested. For me its either TX-SR605 or Onkyo TX-SR674 now.
However would any of you all know any place with available units of the TX-SR604 or TX-SR674, just want to personally have a feel of the sound and image quality first.

I guess it won't be available in Malaysia yet unless they have rolled out all the HD-DVD and Blu-Ray players and softwares here. Heard that Speedy Videos will be bringing in those HD goodies but they're holding back their decision as the current local Blu-Ray player from Sony retails at RM4,999. So to get more people to buy, they really have to lower their price to an acceptable range first.
