Mi A1 doesn't have Camera2 api does it? I've checked with Manual Camera compatibility app and it says this phone has no support for Camera2
My Redmi Note 4 doesn't support camera2api by default. But it can be enabled by editing build.prop (need root 1st). Now mine already have EIS for video recording and i can use that Google Camera app.
Hi Japanties. your info - my answer.. definitely asnwered my question!!!
Hi all. Argghhh… Xiaomi A1 or Huawei Nova 2i ? Any Huawei Nova2i discussion thread in lowyat or review?
Front Camera: Nova2i? Rear camera: Mi A1? Performance: Mi A1. Display: Definitely Nova2i. Battery: Mi A1? Android OS: Definitely Mi A1. Price (value): MI A1.
What Else?
Thanks in advance! smile.gif
You can check reviews on youtube. Nova 2i = Honor 9i = Honor 7x, all are the same phone.
Personally i'd choose Nova 2i if money isnt a problem.
Wondering how the Nova2i camera performance is compared to Mi A1 - I would assume its better based on specs...then again specs doesn't tell a lot until there is a comparison
It sure looks good though

I think your key decision is will do you want an almost 6 inch screen in your palm or a 5.5 inch screen in your palm?

Yeah yeah correct. Previous i use 5.0 inch, now i use 5.5 Mi A1. Feel very big. ( not suitable phone in toilet. hard to grab 1 hand ) So u think about it, Nova 2i is 6inch.
Nice! Yeah, I mean it's also about expectations. This is a midrange phone, and Xiaomi doesn't claim that it will take flagship-like photos. For what it is and what we paid, I would say the camera is more than decent
Flaship dual camera.. 😏
Thats why people had high expectations for the camera. But yeah, for the price, you cant even get a better camera phone at this budget.

I don't think it's possible, even though they're the same. Flashing Mi 5x ROM on A1 will brick the xiaomi A1. There's one guy did it and it went brick.
Read properly. He said flash MiA1 ported ROM into Mi5x, not the other way.
