I've got a question that I wanna ask you all..... Anyone using a BT mouse with your 6400?
I was pondering whether to buy the Logitech V270 Cordless Optical Bluetooth Mouse but I found a few feedbacks from some Dell users at Amazon that the driver conflicts with their integrated Toshiba BT and won't install.

Any idea anyone? Or any recommendations?

hmm..why don't u get a wireless one? like the V450? the transmitter kinda small. can be stored underneath the mouse when not in used. just my 2 cents. coz hardly see ppl with bluetooth mouse. smile.gif

I am not really satisfied with Windows VIsta on 6400... seems not really enough for the spec...

but one thing I am very curious about the graphic... not as what I was expect earlier, it just like normal... sweat.gif

Ya..mine is 3.7 too..the lowest being graphics and gaming...lol..

Anyway...wanna ask u guys here...I just reformatted my C drive..and reinstalled windows with the Dell OS DVD...then there is a problem with my bluetooth adaptor..i dunno if its cos it clashes with windows installation? I installed the latest drivers from the DELL website...but a warning message keeps popping up saying that the software doesnt have a digital cert...and i clicked "install anyway" cos it is from the DELL website...so should be safe...but somehow..it doesnt want to continue installation? The warning message keeps popping up?  cry.gif

What I want to know now is, can u guys teach me how to fully uninstall the bluetooth software and reinstall it so that hopefully everything is back to normal? which software in the dell website should i download? Thanks  blush.gif

hmm..which bluetooth driver u installed? tried the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack? the most stable one i've used so far. try to some System Restore or manually uninstall from Control Panel. smile.gif

can get the bluetooth driver from Dell Support website if not mistaken. good luck. smile.gif

btw guys..just upgraded to Mushkin's 2 X 1GB DDR2 667Mhz. feel like no difference with 1GB when using XP. anyone got experience with this brand? blink.gif

Previously..u also using 1GB of system memory? blush.gif

EDIT : 2GB shows significant difference compared to 1GB when doing video editing, converting & pictures editing. it's much faster too when doing system checkup. last time when on 1GB, RAM usage will till 80+% with Winamp,uTorrent,Firefox,Vista Sidebar,ObjectDock,MSN etc. but now, max only 55%. tested with both XP & Vista & happy with it. smile.gif

Guys,
let say i wanna change my memory
err...change it to new RAM manufactured, what is the best nowadays?
*
go for either Corsair or Mushkin. Kingston is the most normal one nowadays. 1GB is like so cheap nowadays. just upgraded mine yesterday. rclxms.gif rclxm9.gif

corsair is good ... but kinda costly ...
kingston just a normal kind of thing with normal price

i switch back to XP already , have enough with vista
cant do my assignment and increase in temperature
*
actually Corsair & Mushkin just RM5 more expensive than Kingston, that's @ Startec. smile.gif

means u formatted off Vista? i thought of format it off too, but still like its eye-candy features over Vista. other than that, XP is much more faster. smile.gif

ps: anyone of u tried the latest CoolerMaster Notepal Infinite? how does it compared to Notepal W1 & Zalman ZM-NC1000? headache choosing between 'em. rclxub.gif
